Wonderful time in Luxor! - We had an amazing experience the whole trip going to and coming back from Luxor. Everything was perfectly organised, lunch was tasty by the river Nile. Definately worth the visit of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. We have enjoyed it a lot. And of course our lovely guide Mimo was wonderful as a person and he did his job brilliantly. Well done to the whole team!

My day in luxor - My Day in Luxor – A Journey I'll Never Forget 6:00 AM – Picked up from my hotel. Still sleepy, but excited. 9:30 AM – First stop: Karnak Temple. Wow. Just wow. Columns so big I felt tiny. The energy there? Magical. 12:00 PM – Valley of the Kings. Standing inside ancient tombs, I actually held my breath. The colors, the carvings — like they were painted yesterday. 1:30 PM – Lunch break. Local food, simple and full of flavor. Just what I needed. 2:30 PM – Hatshepsut Temple. A queen with a vision, and a temple to prove it. 4:00 PM – Quick stop at the Colossi of Memnon, then back to the bus, tired but amazed. 8:00 PM – Back in Hurghada. Exhausted, sun-kissed, and full of memories. Luxor isn’t just a trip. It’s time travel. And I’d do it all over again.

Luxor - Luxor… You Blew My Mind! Okay, no one warned me that Luxor would be this impressive! I mean, I’ve seen photos of Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings before, but seeing it in real life? Whole different story. The temples are MASSIVE, the history is deep, and the vibes? Unreal. I felt like I was on the set of an epic movie — except it’s all real, and older than anything I’ve ever seen. Our guide was like a walking history book with a sense of humor, which made the day super fun. The transport was smooth, lunch was great, and honestly, I didn’t want the day to end. If you’re in Egypt and skip Luxor… you’re doing it wrong. Seriously.

Not recommended if you want to look at something in peace - Hello everyone, we were in Luxor on December 29, 2025. I start with the positive we were picked up by a large coach. This was perfectly fine clean and also the toilets were unlocked after 2 hours. Well the not so nice : the description said that a German guide would be there. This was not so horny our guide spoke English, which was not quite so bad yet. The sightseeing visits many very short and very, very quickly from one would not have been good on foot. Wouldn't have gone well, as the guide only ever quickly rattled everything down. There were 3 minutes here and there to take a picture. We had already booked the temple of hatshepsut, among other things, despite everything, the guide wanted money from us again. So we paid an additional 54 € just to see this temple. At this temple the violin gave us 20 minutes, which was by no means feasible, since the queuing alone has already taken 25 minutes to even take a look in. The banana plantation and the crocodile shape do not need to be seen. It's just moneymaking, a crocodile in captivity. The monkeys were also in captivity. So don't see anything worthwhile, just make money. I wouldn't book it again then I'd rather go to Cairo again

Goes like this - Although a German tour had ordered, nothing came of it. Great tour so far, just understanding something would have been great and important. Ride, punctuality and organization were good though 👍

BEWARE. Book your tour somewhere else or they might pass your booking to another tour company - First and foremost ,I research intensively and i came across one of the tour operator from your site and specifically booked that trip from this operator{HOLLI TRIPS) as the reviews was indeed very good and specifically book English Guide .I never used to have a problem with Viators which is same company as tripadvisor, This whole trip was the worst that my husband and I have experience. First, I suspect that the operator HOLI or HOLLI TRIPS did not reached the certain amount of customers for the trip to go thru which was small group for Maximum of 9 pax. So since money was already taken from my credit card, they must have passed us to another operator but has never informed us at all whatsoever. The day before the tour commence, I got a text and e mail from trip advisor asking for the name of the hotel ,the room number and a copy of the passport which apparently is standard for tours in EGYPT. I have complied with all this requirement and provided them all as requested. I then received a text from a local person, asking the same requirement which again I have provided as requested. He then texted that the pick up was at 04:10 AM though on my initial booking with HOLLI trips it was 05:00 am but i thought OK,,as long as they will turn up. WE were down the lobby at 03:50 as we don't want to be late. Some van pulled at the hotel ,pick another people but it was not for us. I got a text at 04:20 asking if everything was OK and replied that we are wating still at the lobby...Hubby ask me to call him which I did and then he said,,ok I will call the driver now...The driver of course was Late. When that van turn up ,first driver(AS there were two of them) jump out of the car without a single word and went inside the hotel which we did not know what for as we are already outside waiting ready to have a ride as soon as they turn up. After a few minutes the second driver came out of the car and all he said was room number and husband said YES .he opened the van for us to go in without another word. The first driver came out of the hotel ,got into the van and NO single words again. WE drove off a few yards out of the hotel gate and less than a minute we stopped, NO word again ,opened the Van and we waited...3 ladies to join us ( we found out the ladies where from RUSSIA). There were already 3 other ladies before us from TURKEY(MINIMAL ENGLISH almost none).WE fell sorry for them too. We set off with no SINGLE HELLO or any sort of INTRODUCTION from any of the two drivers at all...After probably 45 mins or an hour the Van and lots of vehicle was on stand still, all is waiting for clearance ( a lot of police patrol in that part of the word).. not a problem but at least WE the customer should at least be informed that this things are quite standard for them ,BUT NOTHING from any of the drivers(ITS not we were expecting for a tour guide from the moment we have been pick up). I was seating next to my husband behind the driver, the replacement driver as they do take turns for the long ride ahead(5 hours at least one way including a few toilet stops), just put his reclining chair without a SINGLE word to sleep and almost touching my knee at the back where I was seating. After a very long drive, we stopped to pick up the supposedly ENGLISH ONLY GUIDE that I specifically booked from HOLLI TRIPS .And yes He does speaks English but he found out that the 3 other ladies were Russians. He will only tell a few words about something in English then all of it will be in Russian spending most of his time with those 3 ladies as he spoke fluent Russian then will tell us he gives us a few minutes here and there, meet up at a certain place to move to the next itinerary, On the next itinerary ,he walked so fast and we are all trying to catch a glimpse of him as we don't know where he was.. He was very rude going let's go let's go let's go to everyone. Luckily he is TALL in white shirt so I manage to see him otherwise I would have been lost. He remove one itinerary originally booked and replaced with extra payment for Nile cruise and lots of wasted time on bringing us to a place of shopping we don't need. Worst Guide and driver ever(NO communication at all).We were expecting a proper ENGLISH guide to tell us Historys of the place. We got NONE. In total 5 minutes is the most we got from him, He's that bad so even his name we cannot remember at all.
