Absolutely recommendable private day tour to Luxor. - We booked a private day tour from Hurghada to Luxor for four people through Tripadvisor with Legacy Tour and can recommend it without reservation. We were picked up at our hotel promptly at 4:30 AM. After about a four-hour drive through the impressive desert landscape with several breaks, we reached Luxor. There, our German-speaking guide Osama was already waiting for us at the Karnak Temple. Right from the start, he gave us valuable tips on how to deal with the sometimes very pushy vendors. Afterward, he guided us through the impressive temple complex and explained the history of Ancient Egypt in excellent English. Since we are not Egyptologists, he conveyed the historical contexts in a very understandable and interesting manner. After the temple visit, we spontaneously decided to extend the Nile cruise by an hour for a small additional fee and visit Banana Island. The island, with its banana plantation and small zoo, is also frequented by many locals and provided a nice insight into local life. On the way back, we were able to enjoy the fresh fruits that Osama had organized for us. On the other bank, our drivers were already waiting to take us to the next sightseeing location. Instead of the originally announced Hatshepsut Temple, we visited the Temple of Medinet Habu. This impressive complex was significantly less crowded, thus offering a much more pleasant and authentic experience. After further exciting explanations from Osama, we continued to the Valley of the Kings, where we were able to visit several impressive tombs. Next, we visited an alabaster workshop, where the production of the artistic vessels was presented to us in an entertaining way. For lunch, Osama took us to a restaurant that is predominantly visited by locals. The food was excellent and a welcome change from the typical tourist restaurants. After this very extensive and varied program, we began our return journey to Hurghada. Special praise goes to our guide Osama. He perfectly tailored the tour to our wishes, explained many interesting details, and showed us places that are off the usual tourist paths. Thanks to his competence, friendly demeanor, and extensive knowledge of Ancient Egypt, this trip became an unforgettable experience. Many thanks to Osama and the entire team from Legacy Tour. Anyone who wants to experience Luxor individually, relaxed, and with an excellent German-speaking guide is exactly right here.

Privat Trip to Luxor - We were looked after throughout the day by Osama Mohawes, who guided us excellently. All our questions were answered perfectly. We enjoyed the experience very much and can highly recommend this excursion to everyone. Unfortunately, the vehicle was anything but luxurious. Although there were only four of us in the car, it was nothing special; I would have expected something better in this regard.

Prof. Ahmed Elsisi guides our family in Luxor - We had Professor Ahmed Elsisi as our guide and he was a fun and charismatic guide. He was particularly good with the children and explained the history through many stories to make it come alive for them.

Valley of the kings and river Nile cruise. - Had an amazing day with professor Ahmed Elsisi. Our balloon ride was cancelled because of the wind but was actually a god send as we visited more tombs. He is very knowledgable but also very funny so we all had a brilliant time. Thank you very much our new friend Ahmed.

An excellent alternative to mass tourism. - An unforgettable day! Heartfelt thanks to our competent guide Mark and to our always friendly driver Mohammed, as well as to the team from Legacy Tour, whose excellent organization and communication made everything easy and pleasant. This excursion is a wonderful alternative to cheap mass tourism. A competent archaeologist with deep knowledge and enthusiasm, who can and wants to answer every question, and has the freedom to cater to individual wishes. With very good language skills in German, which makes a huge difference in this case - even though our English is okay - I would struggle a bit with archaeology. The ride on the Nile is also beautiful, with the unforgettable view of the city. Thanks to our driver Mohammed, we had a very entertaining, pleasant, and relaxing ride. We were able to learn a lot about "the land, the people, and the soul of the Egyptians." We can absolutely recommend this experience to everyone! P.S.: The choice of restaurant was authentically Egyptian and very good. Quality and preparation were very good. The taste was simply great!

The only way to Explore Ancient Egypt - This is the way to experience these amazing treasures of Egypt! Although an early start, we were driven in comfort to Luxor in a car that was our personal vehicle for the day. When there we collected our tour guide for the day, and were very lucky to have Prof. Ahmed Elsisi to show us around. What Ahmed does not know about these sights and the history of Ancient Egypt, I cannot imagine is worth knowing. We learned lots from him, and had plenty of free time on our own to explore the sites we visited. If you want to visit these sites, and learn more about them, this is by far the best way to do it. And hope Ahmed is guiding you around

Convenient way to go around Luxor - Very convenient private tour as we dont want waiting for other people. We were picked up on time, we went at our own pace and was dropped off at the right time when our legs couldnt carry us anymore. The 2 Mohammeds who drove and guided us were very friendly and professional. They catered to our every request during the day.

Wonderful day in Luxor - An all-round perfect day in Luxor! Even the organization in advance went smoothly and uncomplicated. The long drive was very relaxed thanks to the friendly drivers Arimir and David and the pleasant breaks. Our guide Osama Mohawes has made the excursion very special: With a lot of knowledge, humor and passion, he brought the history of Egypt alive. You can tell right away that he loves his job. It was especially nice that he responded individually to our wishes. The combination of impressive sights, relaxed Nile ride and delicious food rounded off the day perfectly. We would do this tour again anytime – a very clear recommendation!
