Great memories - What an amzing exeperince!!! Couldn't thank enough FTS team for this fantastic trip. Everything was spot on from early hotel pick up to the drop off. We felt safe all the time, it was my gf 1st time in Egypt and she was worrying a bit but in the end she said she never felt so safe as with this team. Our driver was amazing and our guide Ahmed was fun and knowledgable guy. we had enough time for ourselves at Karnak and Valley of the kings. Free unlimited water during whole trip, tasty lunch, crisps and ice-cream-everything was included. Definitely greta value for money. I always try to support local business and these guys didn't disappointe. Will recommend them to everyone. Thank you for the amazing trip and great memories.

A Long trip. But worth it for a fantastic day - What a fantastic day visiting The Valley of the Kings. Our guide Nana was very knowledgeable and made the whole day fly by. She knew everything there is to know about the kings (and queen) in the tombs of the Valley of the Kings. She was also very funny and made the whole experience a lot of fun. Lunch was good in the Crocodile restaurant as was the boat trip on the Nile and snacks, water and ice creams were handed out during the day. It is a long day so be prepared for the heat and the long bus trips there and back. We travelled from Makadi Bay and it was roughly 5 1/2 hours each way, with stops. Would definitely recommend

Great trip - worth the early set off - This is a very long day trip. Pick up was 3.10am as I got first one and got back about 9pm (last one😕).
However it is a great trip and Ahmet out tour guide does an excellent job explaining everything and looking after our group - Cocktail!!
The driving crewe were excellent too and took good care of us

Luxor adventure with Ahmed - An amazing experience from pick up, actual tour and the hospitality was top notch. Ahmed was our tour guide, very knowledgeable, excellent communication, fantastic hospitality and very organised. Our group was a small group and everyone was lovely. Thank you so much Ahmed and our drivers.

The bus arrived near... - The bus arrived almost an hour early , so how can we say that in the middle of the night we were sleeping, fortunately we managed to wake up because the pick-up time is not correct and it was for all the passengers of the bus.
If they tell you 3h30 be close before 3h...
Otherwise the experience is good but a little disappointing do not expect to see tombs complete with sarcophagi ..
It is full of people even at least from March, the cruise on the NILE is mandatory, they force us to pay 10€ more per person ...

Disappointingly handled - The Egyptian monuments were awesome.
But the trip left a bad taste the mouth.
On booking, the trip description made it clear the boat trip on the Nile was optional but the guide (Nana) said that taking the bus would take too long to get to the restaurant for lunch thus making it compulsory, obviously at an extra cost which we had no choice but to pay.
She later promised that we could stop for a coffee and the toilet in fact we were driven to an alabaster shop where there was a toilet. Queue the hard sell. Again no escape.
Later the drivers of the bus picked off each couple one by one asking them to come to the front of the bus and attempted sweet talk obviously with the aim of getting a tip.
It’s Egypt im not so stupid as not to know the score but the point in booking an organised trip is precisely to avoid this kind of thing.
Being held hostage and not given the choice is simply not ok.

Attention to your health - Luxor is a fascinating and very authentic city, with an exceptional heritage.
However, air quality is a real problem: daily burning of garbage, especially at sunset, makes the air polluted and difficult to breathe.
A marked contrast between historical wealth and disturbing living conditions.

You’ve been warned - After taking this trip I have been in touch with the operator FTS who have dismissed my complaint- not even discussing some of the points I raised. Disgusting.
So the good part first - the monuments you see on this tour are amazing even given the early start.
The bad- elements of this tour which are billed as optional simply aren’t. The Nile cruise which is billed as strictly optional was presented to the group as necessary as the traffic was bad in Luxor and otherwise we would be late for lunch. In effect it rendered the cruise compulsory (which of course had to then be paid for). We weren’t explicitly asked if this was ok with us. (See other reviews saying the same thing)
Later we were told we could have a coffee and use a clean toilet - partly true- these facilities were at an alabaster shop where you had to sit through their sales pitch.
Lastly on the way home the drivers picked off each couple in turn asking them to the front of the bus to sweet talk a tip out of them. Such a horrible atmosphere waiting for your turn.
It’s clear to me that this is the score in Egypt and that tips and tourist traps are part and parcel of it all. However all of this could have been handled so differently. Going on an organised trip with a reputable company is a way I hope to avoid such things.
I wrote to FTS directly and asked for the money back for the in no way optional cruise. They wrote back and said after a thorough investigation they had deemed that we were given the option. Case closed.
You’ll see Luxor in all its glory on this trip, but the price will be you’ll feel uncomfortable and be conned at every chance. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Don’t book Luxor trip with FTS Travels - Transportation didn’t show up, was told to be at reception 15 minutes before the pick up time, been waiting for over 2 hours, I asked reception if anyone had been to security and was turned away, nope no one had been. Driver was in contact with me and my partner but then all off a sudden stoped messaging us completely. We have lost out on our money and unsure if we will even get it back.
