It was an amazing... - It was an amazing experience! I spent one night in Luxor, which included guided tours of both the West and East Banks. Unfortunately, my hot air balloon ride was cancelled due to the weather, so if you’re staying longer in Luxor, you may have the opportunity to reschedule.
My tour guide, Christen, was fantastic—she made sure I felt safe throughout the tours, explained the history of each site in detail, and took me to shops selling authentic items such as alabaster, perfumes, and papyrus.
My tour leader, Ayman, was equally wonderful. He ensured everything was well organised and even surprised me with a cake and a gift when they found out it was my birthday week.
It was truly a pleasure meeting you all, and I hope to return soon for the Aswan tour ☺️

A great trip - It was a great day and we did not expect that it would be beautiful in this way since we moved from the city of Hurghada to the city of Luxor, then the balloon trip began and it was fantastic and very exciting. After that, we completed the tourist program by visiting the West Land and then the Eastland, and we enjoyed a lot of visiting the Valley of the Kings and the temples of Karnak, where the organization of the trip was excellent, and the guide was talking fluently, the car was comfortable, the driver was excellent, and finally everything was wonderful, and I recommend the egypt sunrise tours company

Simply amazing! - It was simply amazing from beginning to end.
We were picked up in a private vehicle. Our driver was great. Very nice and a safe driver. He accompanied us during the whole trip. Our tour guide Monica was super too. She knew so many things and responded to all our questions.
The hot air balloon ride was simply breathtaking. Like the temple of Karnak.
The entire tour was fascinating and well organised. Thank you so much!

Fantasty trip - We did not expect the balloon trip to be this beautiful and wonderful, especially when we see the West Bank and the East Bank from an altitude of about 600 meters. The pilot was wonderful. Then we completed the trip by visiting the West Bank and enjoyed the Temple of Hatshepsut, then the East Bank. The guide was fluent in English, the car was very comfortable, and the company representative was friendly.

Excellent Journy - Eexcellent Journey .
Before the hot air balloon flights start in the skies of West Luxor, a comprehensive inspection is conducted by the Egyptian Airports Authority for each balloon, ensuring occupational and personal safety procedures for tourists. We also saw the West Bank from an height of about 600 meters, and enjoyed watching the sunrise. After that, we continued our visit to the tombs and temples in Luxor. The organization was excellent from Egypt Sunrise Tours. Therefore, I recommend the trips with Egypt Sunrise Tours .

Not sure what was going on to start with but it improved and turned into an amazing day! - We booked this tour whilst in Egypt a couple of days before we wanted to go. We had taken another tour to Cairo (with a different company) which was really well organised and we had the same expectations - but these weren't met.
I checked with Viator beforehand, as the pick up time was given as 8pm, but they said that we would be collected early in the morning. So we went ahead and booked for the Thursday.
The company contacted us (Whatsapp) to ask for copies of our passports for the balloon ride, which we sent and I asked them about the pick up time. There was some confusion back and forth and they said they would collect us at 8pm on Thursday. After more messages, they agreed to collect us at midnight on Thursday and so the actual trip turned out to be on Friday. None of this was at all clear from the start.
A family of four, we were collected in two cars, which we also found strange rather than one vehicle, and driven around four hours to Luxor. This was a bit disappointing, as we wanted to take a nice family trip rather than being separated. The police stopped the cars at a check point around 2am and would not let us carry on and no-one would tell us why. Eventually it transpired that the driver's needed specific paperwork to drive overnight which they didn't have. Somehow after around 40 minutes, we were allowed to continue our journey.
We were then dropped off at the side of the river in Luxor and met someone who ushered us onto a boat with another man. We were confused as to what was going on and no-one was explaining. After sitting on the boat for half an hour and more people joining us (I think there were four boats altogether) we set off for a 5 minute journey across to the other side of the river and boarded minibuses. Except our minibus was not there and we had to wait another 5 minutes. The bus drove for around 10 minutes to the edge of the desert where we got off and stood around. We still had no idea where we were supposed to be going. Lots of hot air balloons and baskets were on the ground and began to be inflated. One by one they took off but we were still standing waiting and wondering. More balloons were brought and laid out and eventually we were ushered into the last one!
The trip improved from that point on. The balloon pilot was funny and we had a wonderful view (a little after sunrise) of the temple, the river and Luxor, landing eventually in someone's back garden. (You are expected to tip the ground crew at this point). We were loaded back into the minibus and dropped outside a shop at the Colossi of Memnon where we were introduced to our guide Monica who was lovely. She told us all about the statues and then we had two cars (one of the original ones and another one?) to drive us around for the day. We headed to the Valley of the Kings which was fascinating and Monica knew so much about everything. We bought our own tickets but had a problem in every location in Luxor with the lack of a student card for our 16 year old. This had not been a problem with admission to places in Cairo but Luxor insisted on a student card. We did explain that he wouldn't get a student card until he was 18 and that he was still at school and showed his passport but they were not happy. Monica smoothed it over with them each time, but if you are taking older school children, it is something to bear in mind.
We paid extra to get into Tutankhamun's tomb as well, which was expensive, but we were glad we did whilst we were there.
Back in the cars and off to Queen Hatsheput's temple which was also spectacular. By this point the day was getting very hot (still only 10.30am) and it was quite difficult to get into the shade. Monica was the perfect guide, giving us lots of information without overloading us and giving us time to explore on our own, coming back to her when we were ready.
Even though it was early, we opted to go for lunch next because we were so hot. Monica took us upstairs in a snack bar with a superb view over Luxor temple where we chose from four or five set meals, which included soup and bread and tahini and salad as well as your main meal and we paid for our own drinks. It was a big meal and delicious and because we were so early, we had the place to ourselves.
We then went to the alabaster factory and workshop which was interesting and then on to the herbs and spices shop. The ladies in here were incredible and we had a really enjoyable 40 minutes in here trying all sorts of things.
Our final stop was Karnak which was totally unreal. You are simply bowled over by the scale of it but it is impossible to look round the whole thing in the heat. Monica guided us expertly through the key areas and I would definitely want to go back.
At around 3.30pm we were collected by the two original cars and driven back to Hurghada in time for our evening meal.
The balloon flight and the tour of all the monuments and Monica as a guide were brilliant. The downside was that we were not clear what was happening and the tour we booked for Thursday was actually on Friday!
