An adventurous excursion into the desert. - After the fun and bumpy jeep tour we came to a Bedouin village. There's a nice family here. We were allowed to ride camels and were shown and explained the regional plants and herbs. There is no obligation to buy anything there. The toilets are clean. The Nasser tour guide is very good at German and English. He knows a lot about the stars.

Great experience, with... - Great experience, with Nasser our guide being excellent. The overall experience took around 7.5 houra, but it was fun and flew by. The dinner was simple but delicious, and the location is very well kept. All staff involved were helpful and nice. There is also a professional photographer accompanying the group and offers you different photo packages in the end. The star gazing was phenomenal, with expert talk by Nasser. Thank you!

Outstanding - We went stargazing with our family and the trip was amazing! The guide, Arabi, was outstanding – he spoke in a very engaging way about Bedouin life and the stars visible in the sky. Delicious dinner, beautiful views, 10/10.

Super tour in the desert - We booked this tour as a couple on December 17, 2025. Very well organized tour to the desert from El Gouna. Our guide Nasser was very friendly, explained culture and the starry sky super in good German. Good food in the oasis with buffet. In the telescope, we were shown stars and planets and told that the rings were clearly visible at Saturn. The experience was great, we highly recommend this tour.

Amazing - It was a really great trip to the desert. Pick up was on time and very well organized. The Jeep Safari was bumpy and funny for the kids as well as the time with the Kamels, horses and the small baby gouts. Great sunset. Nasser is a very kind and interested guide always looking for the needs of his guest. Very knowledged in astrology and even in literature. Strong recommendation for the trip!

Great experience, well catered for young family and vegetarians - This was such a fun adventure, so much packed in to one night. The star gazing was amazing. We went with our 5 year old daughter and she lived riding the camel, the horse and meeting all the other animals. Everyone was super friendly and our driver was very funny but was very considerate of the smaller children in out 4x4 (another family with 2 year old) so he was more gentle and kept checking we were all OK. The food was also great, we are a vegetarian family and we felt well catered for.

Good, but…. - We left with rather mixed feelings about this stargazing safari. There were definitely moments to enjoy - the beautiful colours of the sunset, the slightly mad dash across the desert in a 4x4, and the quiet darkness far away from city lights. However, this also came with the familiar downsides we kept encountering in Egypt: constant tipping expectations, guides trying to sell extras at almost every step, and a sense that the “Bedouin village” was more staged than authentic - lively only when tourists were around and fading the moment we left. Even the stargazing itself felt like a missed opportunity. The telescopes seemed capable of so much more, yet we only looked at very obvious objects, like the surface of the Moon, rather than exploring the sky in a deeper way. The dinner was fine, but nothing memorable.

Not satisfied! - We didn't like this trip at all, we didn't have proper information. Organizing to see the stars was a bottomless naughtiness. I can't recommend it. We were 5 people and all expected better. It's a shame.

Tourist-rip off - You will be picked up and chased from moment 1 to the last moment. You are disturbed all the time to have photos and videos taken and then they charge €50 per person at the end!!!! More than the tour cost itself! And then 1 min on horseback, 1 minute on the camel, then obligatory past their shop with ridiculous prices for a bag of tea €5 and a little body lotion €10 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Then they want you to buy drinks when it's normally included in the price. The food was really mega bad. In short, I really don't understand where all those good reviews come from.
