Arrival in Cairo

Islamic Cairo - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Luxor Private Tour will warmly welcome you and arrange your transfer to the hotel in a well-maintained company vehicle. Guests will be treated to a complimentary ‘Welcome’ drink at the hotel. The tour guide will assist with check-in procedures and provide the travel itinerary, ensuring clarity on daily pick-up times. Giza Pyramids - Sphinx - Memphis and Sakkara

Pyramids of Giza - A Luxor Private Tour representative will pick you up from your hotel to begin the Giza Pyramids Tour, featuring the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. The tour continues with a visit to the Great Sphinx, dating back to Chephren’s era, and the Valley Temple.

Next, visit the step pyramids of Zoser (Sakkara), the oldest major stone structure. Enjoy a local meal at a restaurant before heading to the magnificent city of Memphis, founded by King Menes, the capital of the Old Kingdom and the heart of ancient Egypt.

Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo and Coptic Cairo

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - On day 3, enjoy a delightful breakfast at your Cairo lodge. A representative will guide you to the ancient Egyptian Museum, home to the treasures of the young ruler Tutankhamen. Following this, you’ll be transferred to Islamic Cairo and Coptic Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle, where you can explore Cairo’s historic bazaar, Khan El Khalili. Return to the hotel in Cairo.

Flight to Aswan

Sound and Light Show - Philae - After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan.

Luxor Private Tours representatives will be at Aswan International Airport to assist you regardless of your flight schedule. You’ll be transferred to your Nile Cruise, where our tour representatives will help with check-in procedures. Enjoy a satisfying lunch on board.

After lunch, embark on an Aswan boat trip to Agilika Island to see the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of the god Horus, built during the Greco-Roman era. Relax on the Nile cruise in the evening and enjoy a city tour around Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Abu Simbel Temples and Sailing to Kom Ombo Temple

Abu Simbel - At 3:30 am, depart from your Aswan lodge in a comfortable vehicle.

Enjoy a guided tour to the renowned Abu Simbel Temples, celebrated for their grandeur and significance in ancient Egypt. These temples reflect the splendor of the new kingdom.

Return and visit the Aswan dam on the way back.

At 1:30 pm, have lunch on the Nile cruise as it sails to Kom Ombo temple.

Arrive at Kom Ombo temple and explore the Twin Temples of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, whose carvings adorn both halves of the sanctuary.

Reboard the ship for dinner as the cruise heads towards Edfu city.

Overnight in Edfu.

Edfu Temple and Sail to Luxor

Edfu Sound and Light Show - Enjoy breakfast on board and continue the tour to the Horus Temple in Edfu, renowned as the best-preserved temple in Egypt. According to Egyptian beliefs, it is where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged his father Osiris’s death.

Have lunch on board and proceed to Luxor.

Arrive in Luxor by evening.

Dinner and a city tour around Luxor, overnight on the cruise.

Luxor (West Bank)

Valley of the Kings - After a refreshing breakfast, begin the tour to explore the West Bank.

Visit the Valley of the Kings and see the historic tombs of the new kingdom’s kings.

Proceed to the Hatshepsut temple, the only female temple in Egypt, built by Thutmosis I’s daughter, who ruled Egypt for two decades during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C).

Conclude the day with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, considered the mortuary tomb of Amenhotep III.

Later, return to the Nile cruise for lunch and enjoy the swimming pool.

Luxor (East Bank) & Departure

Luxor Temple - After a refreshing breakfast, your tour guide will take you to explore the majestic Temple of Luxor.

Then, visit some of the most revered sites in history, including the Karnak Temples, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Enjoy lunch at an Egyptian restaurant before your guide takes you to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo International Airport, and onward to your flight home.
