Great experience! Ben and Riley explained everything from start to finish and were very professional. The river was great. They had a launch system that made it easy even for first-timers to get in the kayak. I hope we can do another trip with Cocoa Kayak some day!
Ben and Riley were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Kayak trip down the creek was beautiful.
Our guide was prompt on time and great with giving us all the information we needed to enjoy our trip! He even had waterproof bags and boxes for our things. He stopped along the way and took some photos of us as well. We really enjoyed this trip and looking forward to our next one.
While kayaking, my vehicle was accessed and debit and credit cards were stolen. You should alert future customers that this parking spot has vandalism issues.
This is the second time we have rented with cocoa kayak and have enjoyed it both times and had fantastic service from the team
Ben was so easy to work with! We booked a Monday trip for my mom's birthday (a first-time kayaker!) and I got a call from Ben saying that if we wanted to switch our current booking to the more popular run, we could do that. Not only did he switch our run, but he also let us go out an hour earlier, which helped us beat the incoming rain as well as traffic later in the day for our trip home. He explained everything very thoroughly to us, was very informative, and even took a couple of pictures of us that he texted to me after the trip. He was right on time to get us in the water, and right on time to get us out! We had a beautiful trip, were the only ones on the water, plus we got to enjoy some of the local wildlife. It was overall a beautiful trip and an excellent time! I can't wait to return and book another portion of the creek!
Ben was great, even as a local I learned some history of the river and the wildlife we'd see on the trip. The instructions were very good and he was well prepared and concerned for everyone's comfort and safety. Will definitely do this again.
You're great and easy to work with. I'm glad all the rain this summer hasn't hurt your business too much.
Prompt arrival of guide and equipment. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Kayaks were in great shape and the rise was fantastic! Thank you for making our experience in PA a fantastic one!
A delightful two hours on the Swattie.....how much nature you miss when driving - truly relaxing and great fun!! We will be back!! Thanks Ben!!
The people in charge of putting this trip together were very organized and did a remarkable job. Everyone was also very friendly and helpful!
We had a great time on Hummel Run. Ben was very informative with history and safety. Hummel Run was a fun and relaxing water trail! Can't wait to try some of the other runs!
This was a Tavern Run Extended trip. They accommodated our group of 12; provided timely and accurate information in planning; excellent guest service; knowledgeable, provided interesting and amusing history as well as important relevant information on the day of the trip; and offered a variety of kayaks to suit our group. Highly recommended.
Our Boathouse Run excursion was relaxing and scenic. On our trek down the Swatara we saw 2 eagles and heard the cries of the young from a nest overhead. Additionally we saw deer along the side of the creek. Other wildlife spotted were turtles, frogs, wood ducks and duck families scampering the waters. My daughters and I were able to escape the stressful day-to-day life and just be for 2 hours. And did I mention? It is easy on the pocketbook! Lagniappe in Louisiana means just a bit more...we were provided waterproof carriers for devices and Cocoa Kayaking of Hershey gave us navigation tips as well as some history prior to launching.
