Iberian Ham Tasting Tour from Seville - We had an amazing full-day tour with Daniel! Our guides were fantastic — both were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and well-organized. Daniel made the entire experience smooth, engaging, and enjoyable. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or returning to the area, I’d highly recommend this tour for a well-paced and memorable day trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience!

A must for food lovers! - My husband and I spontaneously booked a day trip from Seville for the Iberian Ham Tour. I booked on the 19th and got confirmation the next day. We were picked up by our driver Joan who had texted me his WhatsApp to pass along his number and check in. He was on time and very personable. Joan got us to our destination a bit early (very scenic route), so he took us to a region near a dam for a little bit of sight seeing. Once we got to the tour, we waited a bit to get set up with our guide that spoke English. Our guide was Charlotte who was lovely and spoke pretty clear English. She gave us a lot of info and we got up and close to the pigs that were only a few months old. Joan was with us to see the pigs but then departed to get us tickets for the cave and cathedral tour, plus a restaurant reservation. Charlotte took us around the facility and gave lots of info because she was going to test us when we were going to do our tasting. We had to wear a disposable coat, shoe coverings and hair net to walk around. We got to see the whole process with a couple of demonstrations while people were actually working. We had a quick run in with the family that owns the company and they were working just as hard with the rest of the team. At the end, we finally got to the tasting and test out or new knowledge and Joan rejoined with us here. Tasting was phenomenal and we got wine and sherry to pair. Afterwards, Joan took us to Aracena to have lunch at a cute restaurant near the cave. He helped us order then gave us privacy while we had lunch (which you pay for separately). We walked a bit around town until our tour time was ready and we met with Joan at the cave entrance. He passed us our tickets and explained what to do before letting us go. The cave is a guided tour, no self pace, but they have an English audio guide which the Spanish guide would tell us which section to play. There’s no picture, filming or touching in the cave. It was a really beautiful one where you get up and close to everything. There are a lot of stairs and a mix of steep and not steep. After the cave, we attempted to go to the castle which is up a hill next to the cave, but we were too tired and wanted to head back. Joan was able to get us back to where he picked us up and we napped most of the way there. We chatted a bit and I got to ask question about the train station since we were headed there the next day. Joan was super great driver and helpful. He also gave us privacy when we needed it. 10/10 recommend this tour with Not Just a Tourist!

Ham++ - Oscar is a knowledgeable and wonderful guide who happily shared about Spain and its culture. The ham tasting tour was nothing short of what we expected, especially the blind tasting portion that came with wine. We had ample time for lunch at a bar in Aracena before touring the cave, which is a true hidden gem. Oscar also gave us a few bar recommendations and dropped us off at a convenient location for us to shop for olive oil in Seville. Overall, highly recommend! Thanks Oscar for your generosity!

Best day trip so far - We did this tour based on a suggestion from Mahsa, its not something that I would have picked normally. I'm so so glad we did it because it was the best day of our trip! The farm tour and ham tasting was so fun and informative. You also go into the countryside of south Spain to see the farm and cave, so its a bit outside the regular tourist path, which I loved. Carlos was an amazing guide (he also took us to Cordoba a couple days before), it was like spending a day with an old friend. He made sure we were taken care of at each stop as we don't speak spanish. I really recommend NJAT, they have great guides and smooth logistics, very easy to work with!

Definitely the highlight of our... -
Definitely the highlight of our Spain trip. Our guide Jose and driver Robert went above and beyond to make this a special day, and our guide at Eiriz factory Manu was full of fascinating information about the whole process, from piglet to sliced ham on the plate. The tasting, of course, was the highlight, not only because of the outstanding ham best ever and wine, but also they way Manu tied the process information back to what we tasted. Huge difference between the true Iberico Bellota and the Cebo that I never would have expected, Recommend to anyone.
