- Thien Mu Pagoda - Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest in Hue, is linked to the early endeavors of the first Nguyen Lord in Dang Trong (South Vietnam). Legend has it that when Nguyen Hoang was sent to Thuan Hoa (now Central Vietnam) to govern, he personally surveyed the land to find a suitable settlement site. While riding his horse upstream along the Huong River, he noticed a small hillock beside the river, resembling a dragon turning its head. This hill was named Ha Khe. Locals shared a tale of an old lady in a red blouse and green trousers who appeared nightly, proclaiming that a true Lord would come to build a pagoda for the nation’s prosperity. Thus, the place became known as Thien Mu Son (Heavenly Lady Mountain).
- An Dinh Palace - Situated by the An Cuu canal, An Dinh Palace was once the private residence of Nguyen Phuc Buu Dao (later King Khai Dinh). Renovated in a modern style between 1917-1919, it officially became the residence of Crown Prince Vinh Thuy (later King Bao Dai).
