Hue - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in the Hue city center or from the Meeting Point (our restaurant) in the Hue center, and then taken to a local market. (The evening session will not include a market visit.) Here, guests can take as many photos as they wish and purchase fresh ingredients for the cooking class. Following this, they will proceed to the Cookery to learn how to prepare Vietnamese cuisine with guidance from our chef. This is a hands-on cooking class, allowing participants to prepare and cook their meals with the chef’s assistance. Afterward, they will enjoy a meal with the dishes they have prepared.
Once the class concludes, guests have free time to return to their hotel.

Great! - Wonderful authentic tour. Rose and driver collected us from hotel and took us to a local market before taking us to her family home where we cooked spring rolls, hue omelette and water spinach dish. She also cooked us two more delicious Vietnamese dishes before driving us back to the hotel. Rose had great English and was so friendly and kind. It was just the two of us. We very much enjoyed meeting all her family and getting an insight into Vietnamese life.

Top experience! It's very... - Top experience! It is very fun and interesting to cook typical Hue food alongside Anh. He is a very nice and helpful man. In addition, when finished, he sent us the prescriptions via email.
I recommend it 100%.

Great cooking class - Very authentic. Great experience and tasteful local dishes. Visit to market to buy fresh ingredients. The chef is very skilled and organized. Comfortable and timely pickup from hotel. Small (almost private) class.

Great experience with Anh Cookery - Market visit and cooking class was executed by Anh Cookery. It was an excellent experience. Anh is a very friendly and professional chef. You could tell that he really loves cooking and takes care of every detail. He explained everything in the market with his very good english language. Since it was only me and my girlfriend, the cooking happened at Anhs home. We learned how to cut and combine ingredients and also the right temperature and timings. All three dishes were extremely delicious and we had a lot of fun. Thanks Anh!

One of the best meals we had in Vietnam - The cooking class was great. Food was so good we learned to make a traditional peanut sauce, garlic chili sauce (best ever), green mango salad, pork bbq skewers and a chicken lemon grass dish. Our teacher was the sweetest gentleman. We started with a quick trip to the market to pick up some veggies and tried some local fruit while we were there. After the market we made our way to a little bungalow where we chopped veggies, seasoned meats and had one of the most delicious dinners we have had since being in Vietnam. We ended the meal with some dragon fruit and mango :)
Some confusion/ clarification regarding this booking:
If you have the booking that includes the local market the start time is 16:00 not 15:00 like viator says. Also a taxi will pick you up with your cooking teacher. A return taxi is not included. You will need to book the return taxi yourself. Our teacher helped us. The area is a bit remote so make sure you either get the companies assistance or download grab. Also the meeting location is not correct in Viator. The cooking class itself takes place in a little bungalow not a formal kitchen/ cooking class area so the picture you see for the booking isn’t too accurate. That’s just something to keep in mind so you are not surprised.
It was really lovely and a great way to spend an afternoon in Hue.

Do this - fun, tasty and brilliant chats with Anh - Great experience - from going to the market but particularly the individual cooking class. Anh ensure all members of the family were engaged - the food was great, and it was really hands on - learnt a lot. One of the most treasured parts was sitting around the bbq, cooking the final part of the meal and just chatting to Anh - learning more about him, Vietnam and local culture. Just like a bbq at home with friends.

Rosa - Five pur of five stars - The pick-up was well-organized and we visited the local market. Rosa explained a lot and we bought some food for our cooking class. After that we loved to the house of Rosa where we started the cooking class. She explained a lot and along us prepared the menu which was regional focused and very delicious.
