• The Marble Mountains - A cluster of five limestone mountains in Da Nang, Marble Mountains is both a tourist attraction and a site for Buddha worship. This natural masterpiece, gifted to Da Nang, combines ecological beauty with spiritual and cultural significance, attracting many visitors. According to Cham legend, a dragon laid an egg on Non Nuoc beach, which eventually hatched into a beautiful girl. The eggshell broke into five pieces, forming the magical mountains seen today. In 1825, Emperor Minh Mang named this mountain complex “Marble Mountains,” or “Ngu Hanh Son” in Vietnamese. Each mountain is named after one of the five elements of Eastern philosophy: metal, water, fire, wood, and earth. These names have remained unchanged, and Marble Mountains have become a natural attraction with majestic peaks, caves, and temples.
