7:30 A.M.: The tour guide will pick up guests from their hotel in either Hoi An or Da Nang city.
The tour begins with a drive to the Hai Van Pass, renowned as one of the most picturesque hillside roads in Vietnam. As the vehicle ascends the steep, winding roads of the mountain pass, guests will experience the breathtaking views that were featured on the Top Gear show in 2008.
Following this, the tour proceeds directly to Hue, where visitors will explore the Hue Imperial, the city’s main attraction. This site includes the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City, and the Emperor’s Private Residence, where the Nguyen Kings lived and worked.
Afterward, guests will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and have a brief period to relax.
The next stop is Thien Mu, an active Buddhist monastery with a history dating back to 1601. Guests will then embark on a 30-minute boat trip on the Perfume River.
The tour continues with a visit to the magnificent Khai Dinh Tomb, which showcases a blend of Western and Eastern architectural styles. The tour concludes with a return to the guests’ hotel.
