Continue the journey to Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the site of the intense 81-day battle in the summer of 1972 between the Liberation Army of South Vietnam and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. Now a memorial cemetery, it serves as the final resting place for thousands of unidentified soldiers – a solemn symbol of sacrifice and loss during wartime.

Hien Luong - 08:40 – 10:30 | Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River (17th Parallel)
Travel north along National Highway 1 to the historic 17th parallel. Visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, the site marking the temporary division of North and South Vietnam under the 1954 Geneva Accords. Learn about the intense psychological warfare between the two sides, including propaganda loudspeakers, competing flagpole heights, and bridge color schemes. Explore key symbols of division such as the white demarcation line, dual flagpoles, and the war relic museum. - Phong Nha - 10:00 – Transfer to Phong Nha via the Western Branch of the Ho Chi Minh Trail
