Hukaiwen - Discover the Hu Kaiwen Ink Factory, a hidden gem on Tunxi Old Street. This historic site is famous for producing the finest traditional Chinese ink. The Mt. Huangshan Day Tour

Mt. Huangshan - Spend a day and night on Mt. Huang. It takes about an hour to reach the base of Mt. Huang from central Huangshan City. Begin your appreciation of the majestic Mt. Huang with the Yungu cable car. Don’t miss the breathtaking scenery during your 10-minute ride.

For energetic hikers in good condition: After descending the cable car, walk for about 30 minutes, mostly downstairs, to reach the hotel, passing Umbrella Pine and Black Tiger Pine along the way. After a buffet lunch at the hotel, explore the West Sea Grand Canyon. The entire hiking trip lasts over three hours, covering the 1st ring, 2nd ring, and bottom of the canyon. If time and energy allow, further explore the Flying-over Rock and watch the sunset at Bright Top. It takes about 40 minutes to return from Bright Top to the hotel.

Yungu Temple - Located at the base of Mt. Huangshan, you’ll take a cableway here to reach the upper Huangshan Mountain.

Shixin Peak - After the cableway, walk to the lofty Shixin Peak (Begin-to-Believe Peak, 1668m) to stretch your view over cloud seas into the distance.

Xihai Great Canyon - Embark on a captivating 40-minute hike to the Dispelling Cloud Pavilion, where you’ll gaze upon the enchanting Dreamland of the West Sea Grand Canyon. As you descend the stone steps into the canyon’s depths, immerse yourself in a landscape reminiscent of “Avatar” with its towering rock peaks, mysterious cliffs, peculiar stones, and resilient pine trees.

The West Sea Grand Canyon is closed annually from December to late March due to heavy snowfall and hazardous icy conditions. In such cases, you’ll spend more time at other spots on the mountain.

Mt. Huangshan - If time and energy permit, dedicate an hour to exploring the breathtaking Sky Sea Scenic Area. Witness the stunning sunset from Bright Summit, the 2nd highest peak at 1840 meters. Marvel at the incredible Flying-over Rock before retreating to your mountain hotel for a restful night.

Huangshan Departure

Mt. Huangshan - Rise early to capture the sunrise at Refreshing Terrace, highly recommended by past visitors to the Yellow Mountains. After breakfast at the hotel, walk to Lion Peak to see the Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and various pine shapes along the route. You can also climb to Beginning-to-Believe Peak and overlook the Mushroom Pavilion. Conclude your Yellow Mountains adventure with the Yungu Cableway back to Yungu Temple.

Your guide will assist you in collecting your luggage and boarding the vehicle, then transfer you to the airport, train station, or bus station for your departure.
