Michael took us to a... - Michael took us to a restaurant where he ordered some authentic chinese food for us to try, and it was delicious! Especially the prawn balls which came out with some dry ice for a special effect!
For booked VIP tickets for the river cruise and i can honestly say it was the best decision ever. The large boat was super crowded in the regular tickets, but with the VIP area, we were lucky enough to only have three other people to share it with. And we had some crisps and a soft drink included. I cannot recommend it enough!

Magical evening - We had been on a shopping trip with Sunny and it was so good that we booked a vip evening cruise with dinner too. Really wished we’d done it earlier in the trip. Michael (our tour guide) was so welcoming, so kind and considerate and filled our heads with so much information. Now, if we’d done it earlier in the trip, we would have explored different parts of Shanghai - we thought we had seen a lot! But Michael shared so much more than we had discovered on our own! The cruise was breathtaking- the VIP lounge uncrowded and has the best views. Michael very kindly explained how the city had evolved and the meaning behind many of the buildings we saw. But that was interspersed with historical facts about the Opium war, the Chinese dynasties and the different regions of China. Once the cruise was over we were swept off to dinner in the luxury private vehicle- EV’s are really the thing here! But sheer luxury. I don’t know where to start with dinner… Michael showed us how to eat Shanghai soup dumplings - glad he did! They were tricky but so delicious. So much food, all delicious but my personal favourite was the ‘prawn tree’ it was a spectacular sight and tasted amazing. We feel like we need to visit again to catch all the parts we missed.

VIP Shanghai River & Dining - We started out with Lea taking us to a local restaurant, and as a picky eater I was nervous, but Lea was very helpful and we had an amazing dinner experience. Next we went to the river cruise (we had the VIP tickets, which I would highly recommend as there was extra space to take great photos. Lea provided great insight into the history and culture of the area. She was a delight to be with for the evening, it was if we were out for the evening with a friend, and we wished she would be our guide for our next two tours, but she was already booked.

A great Shanghai river cruise - Cassie is the best guide you could wish for on a night cruise. Very friendly and informative. The tour was fantastic ending with a great Shanghai meal. Worth asking for Cassie Chen to be your guide.

Touring Shanghai at Night by Boat - Michael was wonderful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge of Shanghai and attentiveness. Seeing the city at night was spectacular and learning about its history from Michael brought the old and new into perspective. The dinner at a local restaurant was outstanding!

Amazing - The cruise was espetacular! Our tour guide Roy was so kind and gave us all information needed about the buildings that we saw on the way, keeping the experience even better, with a taste of history as well! The cherry on top was the fact that we were lucky enough to see a drone show on the sky, so unique. I highly recommend this tour. The pick up and drop off service just makes everything easier.

Nice Shanghai River cruise - This was a well organized tour. The Bund was not crowded in late December but I have been there in the summer when it was, so wanted to have tickets and boat arranged beforehand. The driver picked us up on time and was very friendly. Dina accompanied us on the boat , provided us with background on the sights in fluent English, and took many photos for us. The views were amazing.

Fantastic VIP tour of the Magic City - What an enjoyable tour of Shanghai’s spectacular and iconic river views! We learned a lot about Shanghai’s history and Chinese culture in general from our excellent tour guide Michael, who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The dinner was delicious and a great opportunity to sample authentic local cuisine. Thank you, Michael, and also Charles, our nice driver and Sunny, who organized the tour! It was a truly wonderful way to bid farewell to 2025!

Spectacular Shanghai! - We were picked up from our hotel in a luxury van and driven to the restaurant where we were greeted by Cassie. After dinner we were went on to the boat for a spectacular view of Shanghai by night from the VIP are on the top deck. Cassie was informative and lots of fun - taking many memorable pictures of us.. Highly recommended.
