Fabulous breakfast walking tour in the French Concession - A fantastic way to experience the delicious Shanghai food scene. Jim was an engaging guide who provided an entertaining and informative tour with lots of tasty, fresh food along the way. Jim has great local connections and led us through little lanes and alleys to soak up the atmosphere. Added bonus of some great historical information, tea tasting and fresh market visit. Highly recommend - a great way to spend 1/2 a day.

Eye-opening experience - It was truly an amazing experience. Our tour guide was clearly a very experienced and knowledgeable local. He was able to cater to dietary requirements whilst introducing us to authentic Shanghainese food. I also love the way we were walking to each stop, this allowed us to take in the scenary and enjoy a wide variety of foods. I would recommend for anyone to book this tour when coming to Shanghai, you will fall in love with their local delicacies.

Good tour of former french concession. Learn a little about the history, food and culture. - Our guide TJ had a lot of good insights about the food scene and history of the former french concession and Shanghai. I got to try different foods, drink the local coffee and learn some things I didn’t know before. I would recommend this tour.

Breakfast of Champions - Jim was a great guide! Food was amazing. Good mix of popular and local spots. Not sure if it was part of the usual stops but he took me to the wet market as well and it made for good photos. It helped that I was the only one who signed up that day and we took our time. We also took a detour to check out an EV showroom! Top notch food tour with important bits of cultural and historical info.

Memorable tour with Jim - I was travelling alone and had one day layover in Shanghai. Despite being hesitant about being the only person on the tour I booked and glad that I did. Jim was amazing. His history knowledge added so much value to the experience and he took me to places I would not have been confident to do travelling by myself or with others.

Amazing tour with Jim & incredible food! - We had an AMAZING time with Jim today, he was an incredible guide! From the places carefully selected to all the anecdotes and stories he shared with us during the walking tour, everything was perfect. We felt like insiders for a morning - and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Amazing breakfast tour - Had an incredible morning walking around Shanghai on this tour. Jim is an excellent tour guide - I learned so much about Shanghai and Chinese cuisine and culture. Definitely arrive hungry, you will eat far more food than you can believe and it is all delicious. Getting to see a local market was a highlight - we also tried xiaolongbao, noodles and went to a local fruit store, among other spots. The tour felt very flexible and relaxed.
I recommend booking this early in your stay - Jim gave excellent recommendations for more food and drink spots and you'll want time to try them out. An absolute must for anyone visiting Shanghai.

A five star morning with Jaden - Jaden took me around for some great breakfast foods and coffee yesterday. She shared so much knowledge of the area and Shanghai in general. She was also willing to help me with advice on a better area of town to move hotels. It was a nice morning.
