Shanghai Nights - Would highly recommend Shanghai foodie and this night time tour. Patrick our guide went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible and got home safe at the end of the night. He was knowledgeable about the area and the food, his English was strong and I learned a lot about the food we were eating and Chinese culture. The tour is a great introduction to the Shanghai food scene and to try many foods for the first time and likely food you would be unable to order on your own. If you are looking for a food tour pick this company.

Late Food Tour - In the evening I had a fun time drinking Chinese food and vodka with Rebekah. Usually many people apply, but I don't have any applicants on Sunday evenings, so we spent a lot of time. It's a very profitable time to visit local boutiques and streets that you can't go alone, and I'd like to apply again if you visit Shanghai the next time. I recommend it.

Unforgettable experience - Rebekah's Food Tour was absolutely fantastic. She took us on a culinary journey through the hidden gems of Shanghai. The tour was perfectly organized, and Rebekah took care of everything. The food, of course, was the highlight of the tour. We sampled a wide variety of dishes. Overall, Rebekah's Food Tour was an absolute must-do. Thank you, Rebekah, for this unforgettable experience!

Sophia was the sweetest.... - Sophia was the sweetest. We had a great time trying dishes we never would have gone for otherwise. Even if we didn't like something the experience was still fun. However, we loved mostly everything and had a wonderful time. Thanks Sophia! 🙂

Good Food, Good Guide, Meh Cost? - I booked a Late Night Food Tour in Shanghai with Shanghai Foodie before an upcoming trip to Shanghai with my wife. Overall I found the tour to be worthwhile though a bit on the expensive side for what was received. I found the tour in an online forum, can't remember which, and ended up booking through TripAdvisor. Leading up to the tour, the communication was informative and professional about where to meet and what to expect. On the night of the tour we arrived at the meeting point and were promptly met by Rebecca. We were introduced to the other attendee and then set off. Throughout the night we went to 4 or 5 restaurants plus 1 brewpub. The food and drinks were tasty, the tour guide, Rebecca, was informative. Again, my main complaint was that for the cost of the tour, $88 per person, I don't think we received that value in food and drink. I do understand the tour must make money to pay for advertising and salaries, so that can factor into the cost. It just felt steep compared to other food tours we've done in the past across the globe. Ultimately, we enjoyed our experience and would look at booking another tour with the company if we were back in Shanghai.
