Fantastic! - This was an excellent bike tour - my wife and I both really enjoyed it. Charlie did a great job guiding us around, helped me practice my Chinese, and even found some vegetarian food for me. Shanghai is an excellent city to tour by bike. We loved our experience with Culture Shock.

great bike tour - Charlie was a great guide. We enjoyed the bike tour. It's not a lot km on the bike, so no problem at all that it wasn't an e-bike. Great stops on the way, my favourite was Fuxing park with all the pensionadas enjoying their club activities.

Culture & Sightseeing in Shanghai's bustling Centre - Q is a great guide. We learned about Chinese culture, religions, customs, history in an entertaining way. At the French Park we saw people dancing, chatting and laughing, Saxophon playing, Tai Chi and Qi Gong practicing. From the French quarter to the Chinese quarter: In a Buddhist temple Q explained the customs and meanings of signs. We cycle quickly through all the mopeds, cars and cyclists...fun! We stop shortly at Yu Garden on top, a tourist spot around a Taotic temple and a garden. Selfie with the three of us in front of an old tea house and on to a shop with traditional Chinese medicines. Roots, bones, mushrooms, swallow slime, highest quality, impressing! We cycle to the American and British quarters for the view of the financial centre and Pudong. Q ate dumplings with us in a Chinese restaurant (fried crispy on the bottom, soft on the top) and noodles...yummy! Then we are already 4.5 hours on the road and it is time to go back. We get a small gift/brochure with helpful tips...a great way to start our first Shanghai weekend! Thanks a lot, CultureShock-team!

Culture Shock Shanghai bike tour. - Fantastic 4 hour tour that flew by. Charlie's knowledge was incredible and took us to some places we would never of tried on our own. Just the 4 of us so a lovely private tour. Would strongly recommend taking this experience with Culture Shock to see alot of Shanghai in a short time.

Charlie even took us to a serene Buddhist temple, adding a touch of spirituality to our ride. And let's talk about those fried dumplings—absolutely mind-blowing! Despite the city hustle, Charlie made sure we zipped through crowded areas safely and smoothly. Charlie, you're a star! Thanks for making this tour a blast. It's an easy 5-star rating from me. Perfect cycle tour of old Shanghai - Can't recommend this highly enough. Our guide Q spoke flawless English, was friendly, informative. Perfect way to get a feel for the history of the French and International consessions in Shanghai, as well as some local culture (the park was fascinating) and the local dumpling speciality (try not to squirt Q with the dumpling juice). Cycling is ubiquitous in Shanghai and there are dedicated lanes everywhere, but you do need to be paying attention at times. At the end would have happily jumped on the bike and done it again.
