Fun Biking Tour with Ellen - From the start of our tour meeting Ellen, heading over to our bikes we set off after Ellen had showed and told us her signs for biking...Ellen guided us safely through the streets of Shanghai along with many interesting and fun stops. We were treated by Ellen with a local freshly cooked snack and finished our ride with a local lunch. We highly recommend this tour and Ellen as your guide.

Wonderful tour, great guide! - Exploring Shangai by bike seems impossible. Too busy, too dangerous. But our guide miraculously opened all the bike paths.

The BEST bike tour in Shanghai - Ellen and Anne were exceptional bike tour guides. We had so much fun riding through the city. Our teenager boys loved it. The food stops were delicious. Thank you for making our trip really special.

Great city tour - Such a fun and informative tour. Ellen was a wonderful guide and even though it was a rainy day, it was still a great adventure! The food samplings on the tour were delicious and a highlight of the tour. We were on the tour with our 11 and 14 year old kids and they had a great time too! Highly recommend this tour!

Very good for seeing parts of Shanghai! - We ride around some of the main areas of Shanghai with stops for tasting delicious local food and walking around unique shops. My guide responded all my questions and took me good pictures!

A bike tour is a safe and educational way to see Shanghai. The local food experience is a bonus. - Ellen did a great job of showing and educating me on the Shanghai and its history and culture. I did the walking tour in the morning and the bike tour in the afternoon. There was little overlap and I a great use of my limited time and budget.

Good trip, well selected... - Good trip, well selected and reasonably quiet streets for views, well maintained bikes. Certainly a nice experience and perfect weather for it (early November). Food was average. Guide had shallow knowledge and little love of Shanghai, but competently guided us through the sights and streets including some scary (to us) intersections. We saw a couple of lovely shopping areas: one old and one very new; I wished I could spend longer hanging out there. A better trip would have had the same time on the road, skipped the random meal, had a little more history, and been less rushed in the market (- I'm not a shopper, but it was interesting.) But, I think the tour has probably been designed to fit a particular time / marketing profile so maybe this can't be helped.

Not a good value, just use the bike share instead. - The tour guide was very friendly and it was definitely nice to have a peaceful morning ride, but I found the expertise to be kind of a waste of money and time. If you're at all comfortable with city biking, I recommend using the (very cheap) bikeshares around town and wandering on your own. - Tour guide was a young woman fresh out of college, and understandably didn't have much in terms of local recommendations. - Really surface level information about the places we saw. - The local food was one stop in the beginning to have soup dumplings. The food was good but I was expecting more than that.
