The class offers valuable tips and practices, and during the baking process, participants can sample local ingredients. In this session, participants collaborate in groups. If you are the first to book the event, you have the privilege of selecting the fillings. A minimum of 5 participants is required for the class to proceed.

Strudel Class - I've been to a few cooking classes now but this was definitely one of the best experiences. Marti is really friendly and a good teacher. She imparted lots of knowledge about the technique of strudel making but also about the history of Hungarian cuisine. We had a lovely time and would definitely join another of her classes when we return to Budapest!

Excellent teacher, very... - Excellent teacher, very organized . Expected participation by everyone in the group when explaining and demonstrating strudel making technique . Had lots of practice stretching the dough. Very friendly and class was held in a beautiful home and kitchen. Lovely snacks and we got to take home left over strudel!!

Strudel Making Made Easy! - So glad my friend booked this class and invited me to attend. There ended up being 4 friends who went, and we all had a fantastic time. Marti made sure to include each and every one of us in the strudel making process. She is so passionate about what she does and really made this an enjoyable experience. I feel this is well priced for what you receive - the bites and drinks were delicious and we got to take home the strudel that we had made. I would highly recommend to anyone - even if you do not know your way around a kitchen!

Marti was fantastic! Highly recommend. - This was such a lovely experience and Marti was wonderful. We made two kinds of strudel and had an informative and hands-on experience that made my friend and me want to try this at home. Plus, the wine, snacks, and ability to eat what we created made for a memorable evening.

Fantastic hands on strudel making class - What a brilliant way to spend a morning!
We had a great time learning about how to make a traditional Hungarian strudel and loved the hands on experience.
To round off the day we ate the strudel and washed it down with a local Hungarian wine.
The studio set up was a home from home.
Absolutely fantastic so please go and book this experience

Great experience. Everyone must do this - Had the best time learning to make and stretch strudel. It was great and would definitely tell my friends to do it when they visit Budapest. Marti was the best. She was very patient and made everyone feel right at home

- I recently took part in a strudel-making class and it was an absolutely fantastic experience.
We made apple strudel and a cottage cheese & cherry version. The instructor created a very engaging and hands-on environment, encouraging us to check the dough at multiple stages so we could really understand the process. It felt like I truly learned something—not just followed a recipe.
The studio itself was beautiful and incredibly well-equipped. Honestly, if I ever open my own cooking space in the future, I’d love to model it after this one. The instructor was clearly well-prepared and experienced, and it showed in every detail of the session.
Strudel is not something you can easily learn just from YouTube—this class made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Must do in budapest - What a great experience! Marti (the owner) is an amazing chef with a deep knowledge of cooking. The class was very hands-on and we came with a family of 5 including 3 young girls 8, 11, 12. I would take any of her classes.

A wonderful Budapest family memory - This was a highlight of my family's seven days in Budapest. We had a large group ranging from age 10 to 77, and every one of us enjoyed making the strudel as well as eating the fruits of our labor afterwards. Marti and her husband have a clean, welcoming, and convenient location, and Marti was so patient with our many questions. I would highly recommend this experience!!

Delightful and delicious! - This was one of our best travel experiences. Marti is delightful and generous. We learned how to make Hungarian strudel and had a fantastic time doing it. Marti is a great teacher!
