Participants will enjoy an exhilarating snowmobile ride across the vast ice and snow to reach the entrance of the ice tunnel, located high on Langjökull. The tour includes an hour inside the tunnel before returning on snowmobiles.
A valid driver’s license is necessary to operate a snowmobile. Children and guests without a license can ride on a double snowmobile with a licensed individual. The minimum age to participate as a passenger is 8 years.
The price per person is applicable when two people share one snowmobile.

Check-in is located at the Húsafell Activity Centre, adjacent to Húsafell Bistro and the petrol station. Please make sure to check in at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.

Just wow! - Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend! Guides were brilliant! Very friendly and always happy to answer any questions asked. We booked this on the same day for the first trip (we ended up running late) and they were incredibly accommodating and extremely helpful before, during and after. Amazing team.

Despite snowstorm very nice! - The weather was really intense, a heavy snowstorm which unfortunately prevented the snowmobile excursion. Of course, the organization cannot do anything about that. For the rest it was really a super excursion! The guides were very enthusiastic and very funny was the bus trip and in the glacier itself made extra fun. The stories she told were fun too. Thank you so much everyone for this fun day!

Great visit to glacier - The glaciar experience was excellent. It really exceeded my expectations. Our guide Cis was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Iceland.

Roadtrip into the glaciers into an extraordinary ice tunnel with some of the coolest chillest guides we could have asked - Wow such a sensational experience! Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers, with the amazing company of kitty and omar educating us with all the information we wanted to know. Really chill vibes from both these guys, I loved every second of this adventure. Thank you Kitty and Omar 🙏 love from the USA

Worth it!! - Its may seem expensive at first but well worth it. Our guide Omar told us all about what the team do to maintain the glacier. Also the cost of running the transport is not cheap.
We were running late and they kindly waited for us.
The ice tunnel and snow mobiling are a must do when coming to iceland
