• Zipline Iceland - After we get dressed up in the zipline harnesses and safety equipment, we drive on to the starting point of our zipline track (about 3-5 minute drive). From the starting point we hike and zip all the way down to the hostel again.

You kick off the exhilarating tour with a brief 3-minute vehicle trip to the launching site that offers a stunning view over one of Iceland’s significant glaciers, Mýrdalsjökull. The adventure gets even better as it’s a blend of light hiking across the magnificent Icelandic terrain through a river canyon known as Grafargil. We traverse uneven terrain and ride ziplines strategically located over rivers and waterfalls. There are two ziplines, one stretching 240 meters and the other 140 meters. In the course of the journey, there’s a touch of thrill, one part is aptly called The Leap of Faith. The tour usually wraps up with a pleasant stroll back via the old highway no.1. While zooming down the ziplines, don’t miss the opportunity to admire the surrounding landscape, it´s striking and offers a bird’s-eye perspective.
