The Cerovac Caves are situated on the southern slopes of Velebit, specifically on the northeastern side of Crnopac Hill, within the protected “Velebit Nature Park” area. The closest town is Gračac, located 4 km away.

Both the Lower and Upper Cerovac Caves are accessible for tourists, each extending approximately 700 meters. A tour of one cave lasts about 1.5 hours, with around 50 minutes spent inside the cave. Visiting both caves takes roughly 3 hours, with about 50 minutes in each cave, and the remaining time used for walking to and from the center. Tours are guided, and the guide service is included in the ticket price. Visitors should arrive about 30 minutes before their scheduled tour time. The caves maintain an average temperature of around 7 ºC, so it is advisable to wear warm, layered clothing and sports shoes throughout the year.
