Small-group wine tasting begins in Hvar town with a scenic drive to the other side of the island to the island’s most important wine region. Enjoy the beauties of the island and its tradition. Wine tasting will be in one of the winery with wine guide. Vineyards are all over the island of Hvar. Strong wind and sun are ideal conditions for producing the best quality wine. Plavac mali is the most indigenous grape in the Dalmatian region.

Fabulous tour. Basically,... - Fabulous tour. Basically, a local man (named Dinko) with a van and stories of the island. We got to see the Hvar countryside and the terraced hills where the lavender fields used to be. We also had a wine tasting at an authentic winery off the beaten path

Great Tour Guide and Intimate Experience - We loved our tour guide!! He picked us up promptly at the Hvar bus station and got us back safely. The tour was just me and my boyfriend, which was a nice intimate experience. Along the tour, our guide would pull over at various locations along the road and let us see great views and provided us comprehensive history of the island. He had lived there all his life, so he had many stories to tell. We went to one winery in a small village which had delicious wine and snacks to pair.

Hvar island tour & wine tasting - Our guide Dinko was born & raised on Hvar and was able to share his wonderful experiences of growing up in country of an ever changing political and social landscape.
A great day out, we had a lovely time, and some delicious local wines to boot!

Lovely tour guide and wine tasting experience - Dinko was an amazing tour guide and really took his time explaining the history of the island as he was driving us to the winery. Wine tasting experience was amazing as well, would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Hvar.

Not just a winery visit! - Urska picked us up from our hotel and we learned we were the only two on the tour. We were taken to the highest fortress for spectacular views over Hvar town and then meandered through scenic roads to a lovely and authentic winery in a charming area. Thoughtful small bite pairings accompanied five delicious wines. We learned a lot about the island through history, the lavendar industry and olive and wine growing. Was a great half day and if you have Urska as a guide, you are very fortunate.

Our guide picked us up at... - Our guide picked us up at a meeting point that was just a few minutes walk from our AIRBNB. She was an excellent source of knowledge and told us all about the island. The drive to the vineyard was beautiful!! We made 2 stops along the way and were able to take some great photos. We tried 5 wines and they were paired with cheese and bread and olives. Very nice!!

Amazing Tour - Amazing experience. Urska was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the history and landscape of Hvar. We had a great wine tasting and would definitely recommend it.

Not just a Wine tour - A lovely private tour with Urka of the island of Hvar coupled with a wine tasting at Little Venice. Urka a local resident of Hvar was extremely knowledgeable about Hvar and answered all our questions. We were keen to learn about the history of the island which was very interesting but above this he answered all other questions we had like: where does the island get its water supply from? Is there a Radio station in Hvar and How many schools in Hvar? We tasted 5 wines and they were paired with different food items like cheese, fish and chocolate. The talk was very good and we were even shown recent photos of the grapes.
We enjoyed our tour with Urka and would recommend it as not just a wine experience. Thank you.
