Got exactly what was advertised. We enjoyed.
It was a great day out. Our bus driver was great, very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our carriage ride and the trip out to Fort Sumter. So interesting. The lunch unfortunately was not good, my grilled chicken was over cooked or something but I couldn’t eat it as it was very tough. But all in all, a great day. They even called me on Sunday to change our tour to Monday instead of Tuesday to accommodated us with the hurricane that was expected to come later in the week.
The overall trip was very nice and relaxing. Wendy was very pleasant. The food at the noisy oyster was very good and everyone got to eat at one time. The carriage ride was nice - the only problem was they could not accommodate our whole group on one carriage, my husband and I had to go on a separate carriage with other people and then when we got around the corner we had to stop and get some new "brakes" on the horse which put us quite a bit behind the rest of the group and we were the last to arrive at the restaurant. On the way back the bus was a little warm - there was a problem with the air getting thru the whole bus. The only thing that could of made the trip better would be for the driver to have a microphone pointing out things along the way.
I chose this rating because everything was truly really nice. My mother and I knew that we wouldn’t know the historic sights of Charleston since we’ve never been. Choosing this tour did just that. Of course history in that town is huge but this tour did a great job of showing us historical land make that left us completely satisfied. The driver Wendy this a great job. She makes sure everybody was comfortable and made the trip so much easier. Very punctual as well which allowed us to make the best of the time. Somehow my mother and I actually paid more for the trip than we were supposed to and the cofounder of the company brought that up to our attention and right away issued us a refund. That gesture just shows how this company truly wants their people to have a good time and not just their for the money. Definitely recommend!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My wife and I had a wonderful time. The drive from Myrtle Beach to Charleston was comfortable and safe. The Carriage Tour was enjoyable. We learned a lot in a short period of time... Wow, there is a lot of interesting history in Charleston. The tour guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend it.
Throughly enjoyed it, we were staying in Myrtle Beach. They picked us up at the appointed time. Great time no driving, and plenty of things, great deal!
A very well organized excursion to Charleston. Convenient to have pickup at the hotel. Carriage tour was very enjoyable and informative, and the scrumptious lunch was indeed very good. We took the option of visiting Patriots Point, which was very interesting. The bus is quite comfortable, and the driver was very professional.
It was an excellent day trip. Wendy, our driver, always made sure to tell us where to be and when if she wasn't already with your group. Richard stayed on top to make sure you knew where to be and when for the pickup. Everything ran smooth. Lunch was outstanding. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend this your!!!!!
The "bus" shown on the website was complety different than the shuttle vehicle we had. The bus had no bathrooms. The driver did accomodate by making one bathroom stop on the way there and the way back. The lunch restaurant was poor. The choices offered had NO salad choices and NO other vegetables of any kind. The only side dishes offered were red rice and hush puppies. The restaurant was not "authentic Charleston" at all. Poor service and below average quality of food.
