Our tours transport visitors from the Icy Strait Point Cruise Ship port and Hoonah to the natural playground we cherish daily. The waters near Icy Strait Point are renowned for some of the best humpback whale watching in the world.

Amazing! - Captain Billy was friendly and knowledgeable. He found us humpback whales bubble feeding, such a cool experience. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Binoculars weren’t even necessary! - Capt Bill was kind, knowledgeable, and intentional with our experience! We saw whales bubble net, breach, and heard their song! The boat was just the right size for a close experience with the humpbacks, and this excursion ensured we had a smooth experience.

Great Tour With Close-up Views of Whales - We really enjoyed our trip with Captain Billy! The weather was great! We saw close-up views of a pod of six humpback whales and a family group of 3 orcas. However we didn’t see any bears…Billy said they come out at low tide and we were there at high tide.

Great tour…we saw humpback whales and orcas, but no bears! - We really enjoyed our whale watching tour with Captain Billy! The weather was great. We had up close views of a pod of six humpback whales and a family group of three orcas. The only bad thing was that we didn’t see any bears!

Wonderful trip - We had a wonderful trip this morning. There were only 2 of us and Captain Billy went out of his way to find wildlife. We saw bear, seals deer and many eagles. However the highlight had to be the whales bubble feeding and the orca family chasing an unfortunate porpoise. Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime

Best day EVER !!! - I can’t say enough good things about this tour with Captain Billy & his daughter Taylor. It was hands down our best day ever in Alaska !! We started off the tour searching for brown bear on the beach. As luck would have it we found one eating in the stream. From there we saw seals, sea lions & sea otters on the way to see a pod (7) orcas & many humpbacks. We had more than 90 minutes enjoying the whales. We even got to see the orcas hunt & kill prey. Weather was perfect. Tour was amazing ! (We are a party of four - 2 parents & then 2, 24 year olds.). Loved that our tour was just our group of 4!

Amazing Day of Whale Watching - This is a very good tour option. Captain Billy and his daughter Taylor were very knowledgeable and great host. They both have amazing eyes for finding whales and other wildlife. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a small personalized whale watching tour.

Great trip and great guide Andy. - Perfect overcast day and calm seas. God took care of that! Our captain Andy took care of the rest. We saw several orcas and a humpback 🐋 that put on a show for us for quite a while. Seals and eagles were a bonus.

Amazing Excursion - We had an amazing time! Just three couples, so the trip was perfect. Our host made every effort for us to see the whales, otters, etc. He was very attentive and a great guide. I would highly recommend this excursion.

Completely awesome whale watching!!! - Completely awesome adventure. We saw bear, lots of whales, sea lions, eagles and more. Captain Billy and Tracy and David are great. I would recommend to anybody. Make sure you find out in advance on how to get there. Viator doesn’t provide directions.
