- Hong Kong Observation Wheel - The Hong Kong Observation Wheel (abbr. HKOW) is a 60-metre (197-foot) tall Ferris wheel situated at the Central Harbourfront in Central, Hong Kong. It features 42 gondolas, including one VIP Gondola with leather seats and a clear glass bottom floor. All gondolas are air-conditioned and equipped with communication systems. Each ride consists of two to three spins and lasts about 15 minutes. Each gondola can accommodate up to eight people, except for the VIP Gondola which seats five.

Friendly Crew, Great Views - Smooth boat ride, friendly crew, great views. The crew took photos which were almost available to download before we even disembarked. The views were great, the actual light show was a bit underwhelming, but that’s not the tour’s fault. The crew provide unlimited snacks (nuts), sodas, and beer. It was about 45 min. Go at night.

Great boat ride and staff - Boat ride was great and fun… light show, not so much but not the operators fault. They played the orchestra music on the boat. Served Chex mix, beer and soda.

A must experience to watch Symphony of lights cruising ☺️ - It was a little bit raining but very blessed to watch Symphony of lights Show. Michelle was so lovely, sge was taking msny pics of me. Beautiful Experience cruising & watching the Show. Beautiful HK, thank you 🤗

Good Experience, Not Amazing - I highly recommend getting out onto the Harbour at night to see the lights of the city, but I can’t say you HAVE to do this particular one. It was good, but not “must do” as the set up was like a cheap cafe on a crowded street, that happened to be moving and rocking side to side. The snacks are really just a snack mix and a coke, which was fine but nothing much more than taking a cheap flight. I did enjoy the crew being willing to be your personal photographer (they even have a light) but they don’t require you to purchase their photo or something.

Disappointing Experience on the Victoria Harbour Night Cruise - We booked the Victoria Harbour Night Cruise with the Symphony of Lights to experience Hong Kong’s skyline by night. We arrived well in advance to secure good seats with a clear view. However, upon boarding, we were surprised to find the yacht already full, leaving only a few seats available — all of which had obstructed views due to the yacht’s roof supports and frame.
As a result, we had to stand for the entire cruise in order to enjoy the view. Having recently undergone surgery, I would have greatly appreciated being able to sit and enjoy the spectacle we paid for.
Additionally, we were required to board from the Kowloon side, while other passengers had boarded earlier from the Hong Kong side. Had we been informed of this, we could have boarded there directly and avoided unnecessary travel.
Given these circumstances — limited seating, lack of clear communication, and the overall inconvenience — I believe a refund would be appropriate.
