ETA: Between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM — as Vietnam roads are unpredictable. Upon arrival, it’s time to relax: Meet the team, enjoy a beer by the pool, and savor some local snacks—before the real excitement begins tomorrow.
Du Gia - DAY 1 — RISE & EXPLORE
Start the day with breakfast, coffee, and a spirit of adventure.
We depart at 8:30 AM towards Pác Sum Pass for breathtaking views, followed by a trek and swim at Khau Làn Waterfall.
Next: Quán Ba Heaven Gate (it truly lives up to its name), lunch in Tam Son town, and a picturesque ride across the Dông Hà suspension bridge and Thai An route.
Coffee break in Lüng Hö? Absolutely.
Then it’s off to Du Già Valley — check in, enjoy the pool, and watch the sunset.
Conclude with a local family dinner and a few shots of happy water (hydration with a kick).
DAY 2 — DEEP DIVE INTO CULTURE & NATURE
Meo Vac - DAY 2 — DEEP DIVE INTO CULTURE & NATURE
OPTION 1
We take the scenic backroads through Red Dao and Nung villages, heading to Ban An stream for a relaxing bamboo raft ride.
Afterwards, we elevate the experience — visiting Ma Pi Leng Pass (the famous one), climbing for panoramic views, and daring the Skywalk for the brave.
We’ll stay overnight nearby — because such beauty deserves more than a quick visit.
OPTION 2
First stop: an old French military post (think: history with a view), then coffee overlooking terraced rice fields and mountain peaks.
Lunch is in Meo Vac, followed by a boat ride down the Nho Que River and a float through the dramatic Tu San Alley.
We’ll end the day cruising the Ma Pi Leng Pass — also known as the Road of Happiness, but it’s the views that will truly captivate you.
Overnight stay in the area.
DAY 3 — UNCOVER HIDDEN GEMS
Yen Minh - DAY 3 — UNCOVER HIDDEN GEMS
We begin the day heading southeast toward the Vietnam–China border — where your guide will share fascinating stories and local legends.
Stop at Thien Huong village before hiking up to the Lung Cu Flag Pole for stunning views (and the photo to prove it). Lunch is served in Lolo Chai, a village of H’mong clay houses, before visiting the H’mong King’s Palace and the iconic Tham Ma Pass.
One last coffee stop at Can Ty Pass, then it’s on to Nam Dam village for dinner and your final night in the mountains.
DAY 4 — SAY FAREWELL WITH STUNNING VIEWS
Quan Ba - DAY 4 — SAY FAREWELL WITH STUNNING VIEWS
We start the day with a 4km hike to Lung Khuy Cave — expect to burn around 326 calories (or at least enough to justify a hearty lunch afterwards).
The trail winds through wild karst landscapes sitting 850–1100m above sea level. Inside the cave? Complete silence, interrupted only by the gentle drip of water echoing through ancient rock.
After the hike, we head to Quan Ba District for a final lunch with a view — then it’s back to Ha Giang for the journey back to your free night at Mad Monkey Hanoi.
