• Thang Long Water Puppet - 07:30 - 08:00 The guide will collect participants from their hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter to begin a 110km journey in a comfortable limousine through lush landscapes. There will be a stop for a break along the way. For those staying outside the Old Quarter, please proceed to the meeting point at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre by 7:50 am to join the tour group. Note that the theatre is solely a pickup point and not included in the tour itinerary.
• Bai Dinh Pagoda - 10:30 Arrive at the stunning Bai Dinh Pagoda complex, the largest in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Nestled at the base of Dinh Mountain, it offers breathtaking views of the picturesque river valley and surrounding limestone karsts.

This impressive complex showcases the grandest and most magnificent Vietnamese traditional architecture, requiring a full day to explore entirely. Highlights include 500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats), two enormous bronze bells weighing 27 and 36 tons, the Quan Yin statue with thousands of arms and eyes, and the Gautama Buddha statue.

With its sacred atmosphere and captivating Buddhist stories shared by the professional guide, visitors will be enchanted.

• Trang An Landscape Complex - After lunch, participants will enjoy a rowing boat ride (rowed by both hands and feet) at Trang An Scenic Landscapes. This area features majestic limestone massifs rising dramatically from rice paddies over 20 square kilometers. The traditional sampan will gently glide down the beautiful river through numerous caves: Hang Toi (Dark) cave at 320 meters long, Sang (Light) cave at 90 meters long, and Hang Nau Ruou (Cooking Wine) cave at 250 meters long. Each passage reveals new surprises and mysteries hidden within tranquil, isolated valleys, transporting visitors to another world and time.
• Mua Caves - Arrive at Mua Cave and embark on an exhilarating hike up 500 steps to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for a spectacular view of the rice valley and the surrounding natural beauty. The cave, meaning ‘Cave of Dance,’ may not be particularly impressive, but the panoramic views from the peak are breathtaking. A stone staircase beside the cave entrance zigzags through the karst (watch out for goat droppings), leading to a simple altar to Quan Am (the Goddess of Mercy) after nearly 500 steps. Look west to see the Ngo Dong River winding through Tam Coc. The climb is paved but steep in sections, so bring water and allow an hour for the round trip. Then return to the bus for the journey back to Hanoi.
• Thang Long Water Puppet - 17:00 Depart Mua Cave and head back to Hanoi, arriving around 19:30. Participants will be dropped off at their hotel in the Old Quarter or the same meeting point (Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre). Conclude an unforgettable full-day trip!
