HANOI - PU LUONG (L, D) (Trek approximately 10km)

Old Quarter - 07:00 AM: Guests will be picked up from hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area or the Hanoi Opera House to travel to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. The journey takes about 4.5 hours, including a short break along the way.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve before noon and enjoy lunch. Afterward, check into your reserved room (standard check-in time is 14:00). Enjoy some free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

PM: An entire afternoon dedicated to trekking. Difficulty level 4/5.

Transfer to the meeting point to begin a 10km trek. Explore Kho Muong, a secluded village nestled in a valley, and the largest cave in Pu Luong via off-road trails through streams and mountains. Depart the village and proceed to the picturesque Bang village, discovering remote houses with stunning paddy fields. Return to the hotel and unwind at your leisure. This concludes the first day.

PU LUONG - HANOI (B/L) Village Life | Water Wheels | Rafting

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - AM: Enjoy breakfast and be ready by 8:30 AM.

Transfer to Ban Cong and embark on a 2.5km walk. Cross a suspension bridge to one of Pu Luong’s most scenic villages, where the largest stream flows. Along the river, witness breathtaking landscapes, rice fields, and village life. Discover and admire the giant water wheels, a remarkable creation of Vietnam’s mountainous ethnic minorities.

Arrive at Chieu Lau dam and participate in bamboo rafting. Relax and enjoy paddling the raft upstream with locals.

The raft lands on the opposite side of the river, allowing you to continue another trek through rice fields and villages, forming a loop trail. Meet the transfer at the main road and return to your hotel. Complete your trek by 11:30 and check out of your hotel. Difficulty level 2/5.

PM: Enjoy lunch and prepare for the bus to Hanoi by 13:30.

Old Quarter - 13:30-14:00: Board the transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter. After a 4-hour drive, arrive back in Hanoi and be dropped off at your hotel between 18:00 and 18:30 PM. This concludes the 2-day Pu Luong trip. Thank you, and we hope you enjoyed the experience.
