Hanoi – Pu Luong (L/D)

Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up from their hotels or accommodations within the Old Quarter Area between 6:45 am and 7:00 am. Please be ready in the lobby by 6:45 am. For those staying outside the Old Quarter, the meeting point is the Hanoi Opera House at 7:00 am. The drive to Pu Luong takes approximately 5 hours, including a short break along the way.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Upon arrival at Pu Luong Nature Reserve, guests will enjoy lunch and check-in. There will be free time to relax. Guests will then board a vehicle to reach the starting point of the afternoon trek. The trek begins with crossing a hanging bridge over the Cham River, passing through Ba village, and observing traditional houses. Guests will also admire the Thai ethnic minority’s ingenious agricultural system, featuring bamboo waterwheels. These waterwheels are among the most impressive in Vietnam. The day concludes with a serene bamboo boat ride, adapted for tourism but still used by locals for travel and field visits. Guests will return to the Retreat to relax in their rooms or enjoy a swim in the infinity pool. Dinner will be served in the Eco-Restaurant, followed by a peaceful evening at the bar or by the pool.

Pu Luong Explorer (B,L,D)

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - An early breakfast will prepare guests for an exciting day ahead. Guests will board a van to reach the trek’s starting point. On Thursdays and Sundays, there will be a stop at the local Pho Doan market. The trek will begin from the drop-off point, following a small dirt path through an isolated hamlet and the jungle. Guests will reach the higher part of Hieu village, offering stunning views. As they descend towards the waterfall, they will pass local houses. There will be free time to enjoy the waterfall, with swimming and water hiking available depending on the season. Guests will then join a local house for a “Garden to Table” lunch at the homestay of ethnic minority people. After lunch, there will be time to rest and relax in the village before returning to Pu Luong Eco Garden. Guests will have free time to relax in their rooms, by the infinity pool, or explore an easy walk around Bang Village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Retreat.

Pu Luong - Hanoi (B/L)

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Breakfast will be served at the Retreat. Guests will then begin the trek to Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave. The trek starts along a small alley near traditional Thai stilt houses, leading to beautiful viewpoints of the infinity rice terraces. From the hilltop, guests will gradually see Kho Muong village and appreciate its uniqueness. After exploring the village, guests will walk to the cave entrance, with the option to visit the cave depending on weather conditions. Guests will return to Pu Luong Eco Garden to shower and check out, followed by lunch at the restaurant. There will be free time to relax or swim in the infinity pool before departure.

Old Quarter - Arrival back in Hanoi is scheduled between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm, with drop-off at guests’ hotels. This marks the end of the 3-day Pu Luong trip. Thank you, and we hope you enjoyed the experience.
