Topas Ecolodge - Between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, the journey begins from the Hanoi hotel with Topas Mountain Express for a 5-hour transfer to Topas Ecolodge. After checking into the bungalow, enjoy the stunning and tranquil views of the surrounding mountains and valleys from the private balcony.
In the afternoon, the walk starts from Topas Ecolodge along a peaceful road offering a fantastic view of the rice terraces below. A gentle ascent leads to Lech village, where a visit to a local wooden house allows for meeting the welcoming Red Dao hosts and experiencing their daily lifestyle. The Red Dao women, like their ancestors, shave their hair and eyebrows and wear vibrant traditional costumes. They are renowned for their exquisite handmade embroidery. On the return to Topas Ecolodge, walk along small trails through rice terraces and cross a suspension bridge, perfect for capturing stunning photos of the natural scenery. The guide will share insights into the fascinating agricultural practices of the local farmers.

Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - Enjoy a delightful breakfast and prepare for the day’s adventure. At 8:30 AM, the excursion begins with a transfer deeper into Hoang Lien National Park to the trek starting point near Sin Chai village. This “off the beaten track” experience offers breathtaking views of towering mountains, waterfalls, and deep valleys. The trails lead to the Red Dao village of Nam Nhiu, where visitors can meet the villagers, explore their homes, and learn about their daily lives. Leaving the village, a small dirt trail reveals a spectacular view of the rice valley dotted with bamboo huts, used by local farmers as overnight lodges during harvest. After passing rice terraces and a river, a quiet road leads to Nam Cang village. Lunch is served at Topas Riverside Lodge, surrounded by jungle and river views.

Departing the Mountains and Returning to Hanoi (B,-,-)

Fansipan Mountain - The morning is free to enjoy at Topas Ecolodge. Relax or borrow complimentary high-quality mountain bikes from the lodge to explore the surrounding areas. Alternatively, take a scheduled shuttle bus to Sapa to visit the town or book a half-day tour to explore the highest peak of Indochina, Mt. Fansipan (3,143m) via cable car.
Topas Mountain Express departs from Sapa at 13:15 and from Topas Ecolodge at 14:30, returning to the hotel in Hanoi.
