Temple of Literature & National University - At 8:00 am, a tour guide and car from Paradise Indochina Travel will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or your location to begin the tour. Depart for a visit to Vietnam’s first university, the Temple of Literature. Established in 1076, Quoc Tu Giam was founded within a temple to educate Vietnam’s royalty, mandarins, and elite members.
Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - Visit the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the historic leader of modern Vietnam, and his simple house on stilts. (Sites are viewed from outside; closed on Mondays, Fridays, and from October to November.)
One Pillar Pagoda - Explore the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples. Legend says it was built following a dream by the childless emperor, where Avalokiteshvara presented him with a son on a lotus flower. Emperor Ly Thai Tong commissioned the pagoda to resemble this lotus flower, a Buddhist symbol of enlightenment. Inside, a richly gilded statue of Quan Am is the centerpiece at the main altar. After its completion, followers gathered daily to express gratitude and support to the emperor, praying for a long and prosperous reign. Today, the concrete pillar supporting the wooden pagoda replaces the original, which was destroyed.

Tran Quoc Pagoda - Visit the scenic West Lake and its sixth-century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, considered the oldest pagoda in Hanoi with over 1,500 years of history.
