Demonstrations will be given on how to mount and dismount the Vespa easily and how to sit comfortably. Additionally, basic signals to use when necessary will be reviewed. The tour guide will also go through the itinerary in detail and inquire about any special food requirements.
• Long Bien Bridge - In the first stage of the Hanoi Vespa Tours, participants will venture out of the city to visit an 800-year-old village and witness the countryside way of life. Along the way, a picturesque break will be taken at a bonsai garden to admire the intricate art and stunning plant creations.
• Dong Ahn - Meet a local family living in a 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese house, try some candy with tea, and engage in conversation with the help of the guide as a translator. The tour then proceeds through the serene banana and vegetable farming area of Red River Island. Verdant rice paddies will be traversed, and a dirt road off the beaten path will lead to the Co Loa citadel temple. Here, insights into Vietnam’s history will be gained through a historical site with stunning scenery, associated with the legend of setting up and safeguarding the country from foreign invaders of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong, dating back to 300 BC. • Train Street - Stroll along the historic 150-year-old railway tracks to visit a nearby community where people reside with only a meter of space on either side.
• Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake) - During the final stage of the Hanoi Vespa Tours, a stop will be made at a special Egg coffee cafe which has been in operation since 1946. Here, a delicious cup of coffee can be enjoyed before being dropped off at the hotel.
