Linh is the best! - Linh was so knowledgeable about all the foods she showed me and super passionate about sharing the cultural and historical significance of each local dish we tried. The places she took me made me feel just like a local on my last night in Hanoi, and for that, I’m infinitely grateful. She even went out of her way to accommodate some special culinary requests from some friend-suggested Vietnamese foods as well as foods that I mentioned were my favorite. And besides the food, she is absolutely amazing company. I completely lost track of time talking to her about Vietnam, the food, the culture, and her background. 10/10 would do it again… and probably will next time I’m in Hanoi. Thanks for an awesome experience, Linh, you’re the best! :)

The tour was amazing - Our tour guide Nick was amazing, he knows all the great local spots and very personable as well. When we come back we will definitely be doing this tour again. A truly great experience !!!! 10/10

Private walking food tour with Chi in the Old Quarter Hanoi - My wife and I booked a food tour for day 1 of our visit to Hanoi. We find a food tour is an excellent way to get familiar with the neighborhood we are in a little bit of local culture and of course the food that is available. This time around we chose a private walking tour and we booked it through Viator. Our guides name was Chi and she was excellent. She met us at our hotel where she briefed us on how the tour was going to unfold and a few tips to help with the experience. Not only did she deliver on the food experience she was also engaging and clearly prepared with topics of conversation that kept the evening rolling along at the perfect pace. Here is a list of the food that Chi introduced us to.
• Pho mix with chicken and soy sauce Pho Ga
• Steam rice paper with egg Banh Trung
• BBQ PORK (street vendor)
• Noodle with meat ball and pork belly (Bun Cha)
• Dip with fish sauce
• Bánh mì roast Duck
• Mango sticky rice and ice cream
• Lemon tea
I would definitely recommend Chi as a guide if you have the opportunity. Enjoy your walking food tour!

Great food tour in Hanoi with Bobby! - We had a great first impression of Hanoi on our food tour led by Bobby. The Best Way to Experience Hanoi’s Food Scene – Thanks to Chi - We had an amazing food tour in Hanoi with a guide named Chi. She took us to truly local places where we tasted authentic traditional food. Chi explained every dish in detail, from what it contains to how it’s prepared and the cultural background behind it.
She was very sweet, friendly, and helpful, always happy to answer any questions we had. Thanks to her, the experience felt very personal and welcoming, almost like being shown around by a local friend.
I highly recommend Chi specifically for a food tour in Hanoi. She will definitely make you feel at home.

Food experience - The full food experience was great, we tried a lot of authentic local dishes, every piece was excellent and we enjoyed every single one (we also loved the beer in the end). Our guide took a great care of us and also gave us many recommendations about Hanoi and some other cities.
