08:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, situated on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. This is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, constructed in the 6th century.
09:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, where there is an opportunity to view the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Stroll through the garden to see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy, renowned as the most unique pagoda in the world.
- Dress modestly, covering shoulders to knees, when visiting the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, and pagodas.
- Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
- The mausoleum is closed for maintenance from June 15th to August 15th, but visitors can still photograph the mausoleum and explore the surrounding area.
11:15: Explore the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
Special Note: On Mondays, the Women’s Museum will be visited instead, as the Ethnology Museum is closed.
12:45: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant, featuring a chance to savor Vietnamese cuisine with eight delightful dishes.
14:00-14:15: Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, established in the 11th century.
15:15: Depart for Hoa Lo Prison Museum, initially used by French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this period, it was known to American POWs as the Hanoi Hilton.
16:30: Relax with coffee on Train Street while waiting for the train to pass. Then, proceed to Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy a water puppet show for about an hour.
17:30: Guests can spend 30 minutes having their hair shampooed and nourished, along with a neck and shoulder massage. (For a longer massage, please inform the staff, as there is an additional fee.)
18:00-18:15: The tour concludes, and guests return to the hotel.
