Ha Giang - At 3:00 pm, the tour guide will meet guests at the hotel to explore Ha Giang City. Visit Km0 square, Ha Giang Museum, and enjoy the panoramic view from Nui Cam mountain. Explore Thanh Thuy near the Chinese border. Discover Thon Tha, a charming village about 6 km from Ha Giang City, known for its ancient stilt houses, terraced rice fields, and a picturesque waterfall ideal for leisurely walks. At 7:00 pm, enjoy dinner and return to the hotel. Afterwards, there will be free time to relax.
Ha Giang City – Lung Cu – Dong Van Town (B + L + D)
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Heaven’s Gate Quản Bạ, located in Quản Bạ district, Hà Giang province, is one of the most famous and attractive tourist destinations in Northeast Vietnam. Situated at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, Heaven’s Gate Quản Bạ offers visitors a breathtaking panoramic view of the Quản Bạ Valley and the legendary Twin Mountains of Fairy. From here, you can admire the majestic natural landscapes, lush green terraced fields, and vibrant ethnic minority villages. Not only is it an ideal stop to enjoy the fresh and cool air, but Heaven’s Gate Quản Bạ is also a place to explore the culture, customs, and lifestyle of the local people. This is truly a must-visit destination when you set foot in Hà Giang. Then our car moves to Can Ty Pass – with an altitude of 1000-1200 meters above sea level. You can admire the beautiful and majestic scenery.
Yen Minh - At 12:00 pm, enjoy lunch with local food in Yen Minh, a small town. Afterward, continue the trip.
Lung Cam Cultural - Tourism Village - Lũng Cẩm Cultural Village, located in the Sủng Là Valley, Đồng Văn District, Hà Giang Province, is a renowned cultural tourism destination that attracts visitors with its serene beauty and the unique characteristics of the rocky highlands. Dinh Vua Meo - The Hmong King’s Palace, also known as the Vương Family Residence, is located in Sà Phìn Commune, Đồng Văn District, Hà Giang Province, and is one of the most renowned historical and cultural sites of the rocky highlands. Built in the early 20th century by Vương Chính Đức, a powerful H’mong leader, this mansion epitomizes the intricate blend of Chinese and H’mong architecture. The Hmong King’s Palace consists of various large and small rooms, sturdily constructed from green stone, precious wood, and yin-yang roof tiles, creating a structure that is both grand and exquisite. Visitors to the Hmong King’s Palace will have the opportunity to learn about the life and history of the Vương family, as well as admire the unique architectural details and the vibrant living spaces of a bygone era. This is an essential destination when exploring Hà Giang, offering a profound insight into the culture and history of the H’mong people in Northeast Vietnam.
Dong Van - At 5:00 pm, arrive and check in at the hotel in Đồng Văn town. Đồng Văn District marks the starting point of Vietnam, featuring a border that stretches hundreds of kilometers with China. The district is predominantly inhabited by ethnic minorities such as the Hmong, Tày, Nùng, Lô Lô, Cờ Lao, Sán Chí, and Sán Dìu, with the Hmong making up about 70% of the population. The most famous site in the area is the Đồng Văn Old Quarter, which has been a major trading center for the region since ancient times and continues to hold this significance today. On Sunday mornings, the old town hosts a bustling market where local people from all over gather to buy and sell goods. At 7:30 pm, have dinner at the Old Quarter. Afterwards, take a walk around the area.
Dong Van – Lũng Cú - Meo Vac. (B/L/D)
Lung Cu Flag Tower - At 7:00 am, have breakfast. After checking out of the hotel, head to Lung Cu. Previously, Lung Cu flagpole was built during the Ly dynasty with the shape of just a sa moc tree. By 1887, France rebuilt it. Then in 1992, 2000, and especially 2002, this flagpole was restored many times with the size and scale increasing over time. Including the year 2002, at that time the flagpole was erected with a height of about 20m, the base and pedestal of the pole were hexagonal shaped and at the base of the pole were 6 reliefs depicting the surface of Dong Son bronze drums. Moreover, at the top of the flagpole there is a 9m high flagpole, with the Vietnamese national flag 9m long, 6m wide and a total area of 54 square meters. Lung Cu flagpole is one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Ha Giang. This place is not only a tourist attraction but also a pride of the nation, a place that marks the sacred territory of Vietnam.
Ma Pi Leng Pass - Ma Pi Leng Pass is a famous name in the village of “death passes” in Vietnam with dangerous turns, challenging the drivers of backpackers. The pass is 20km long, located at an altitude of 1,200 m, on the Dong Van stone plateau, curving along the middle of the mountain. Whether you are a backpacker or not, you have likely heard of the reputation of this Ma Pi Leng pass. This is one of the “four great passes” with beauty that is both wild and dangerous but strangely charming and attractive. Ma Pi Leng is difficult to conquer. Therefore, it makes people crave even more to be able to overcome all the zigzag and winding roads surrounded by high, steep, Rocky Mountains and deep abysses.
Nho Que River - The Nho Quế River, one of the most beautiful rivers in northern Vietnam, flows through Đồng Văn and Mèo Vạc districts in Hà Giang Province. Originating from the Nghiễm Sơn mountain range in China, the Nho Quế River winds through deep valleys and majestic limestone mountains, creating stunning natural scenery. A special highlight is the Tu Sản Gorge, the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia, flanked by towering cliffs on both sides. The clear, blue water of the Nho Quế River flows like a soft ribbon through the rocky highlands, captivating visitors. Meo Vac – Du Gia Village. (B/L/D)
Meo Vac - At 7:00 am, have breakfast and check out of the homestay to return to Ha Giang city. On the way back, visit Meo Vac town – a highland district adjacent to the China border. The district has a sparse population and is dominated by the Hmong people, accounting for about 70% of the population. Hmong people have the custom of living on high and dangerous mountain ranges. On Sunday mornings, they gather to trade and meet at Meo Vac town market.
Du Gia - Du Gia, located in the rugged mountains of Hà Giang Province, is a charming and tranquil village renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty. Nestled in a lush valley surrounded by towering limestone peaks, Du Gia offers a picturesque landscape of terraced fields, clear streams, and traditional stilt houses. Du Gia – Duong Thuong Valley - Ha Giang – Ha Noi (B/L)
Du Gia - At 7:00 am, have breakfast at the homestay. Afterward, visit around the village. At 9:00 am, check out of the room and return to Ha Giang city. On the way back, visit Duong Thuong valley, where visitors will surely be overwhelmed by the green patches of the mountains. Far away on the other mountain range are white clouds hovering, creating a poetic and peaceful atmosphere. Because this place is a valley, the terrain is relatively flat for tourists to walk and explore. Visit Lung Tam village, the handicraft village of the Hmong people located in the middle of Lung Tam valley. Nam Dam village is a beautiful and peaceful small village of the Dao people about 2 km from Quan Ba town, famous for the types of houses that report the soil and herbal medicines.
Quan Ba - At 1:00 pm, the car stops at Quan Ba for lunch in town.
Ha Giang Province - After finishing lunch, the car will return to Ha Giang city. Guests will rest at a restaurant and enjoy a tea break while waiting for the car to pick them up for the return trip to Hanoi city. At 4:00 pm, the car picks up guests to return to Hanoi, concluding the trip at the hotel.
