Hanoi – Pu Luong. (L, D) 200km

Hanoi Opera House - Gather at the Opera House in Hanoi’s Old Quarter to board the bus and embark on the journey to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. There will be a stop at Thung Khe Pass to enjoy the breathtaking view of Mai Chau Valley. During this stop, local stands offer typical products, and you can try a local specialty, “Com Lam,” which is sticky rice cooked in bamboo. Upon arrival at Pu Luong Nature Reserve, enjoy lunch and check in. Free time is available for relaxation.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Take a car to the starting point of the afternoon trek. Begin by crossing a hanging bridge over the Cham River. Pass through Ba village and observe traditional old houses. Then, admire the ingenious agricultural system of the Thai ethnic minority, the bamboo waterwheels. These water wheels, unique to the Thai people, are among the most impressive in Vietnam. The day concludes with a serene bamboo boat ride. Adapted for tourism, these boats are still used by locals to visit other houses or fields. Return to the Retreat to relax in your room or enjoy a swim in the infinity pool. Dinner will be served in the Eco-Restaurant, followed by a peaceful evening at the bar or by the pool.

Pu Luong – Hieu Waterfall (B,L,D)

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Start the day with an early breakfast to prepare for an exciting day ahead. Board the van to reach the trek’s starting point. On Thursdays and Sundays, there is a stop at the local Pho Doan market.

You will then be dropped off at the trek’s starting point. The trek follows a small dirt path, passing an isolated hamlet and through the jungle. Arrive at the higher part of Hieu village to enjoy stunning views. As you descend to the waterfall, you will pass by local houses. Enjoy free time at the waterfall for swimming and water hiking, depending on the season. Join a local house for a Garden to Table Lunch at the homestay of ethnic minority people. After lunch, relax in the village before returning to Pu Luong Eco Garden. Enjoy free time at the hotel, either in your room, by the infinity pool, or exploring an easy walk around Bang Village. Dinner and overnight stay at the Retreat.

Pu Luong trekking - Hanoi (B/L)

Pu Long Nature Reserve - Enjoy breakfast at the Retreat before starting the trek to Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave. The trek begins along a small alley near traditional Thai stilt houses, leading to beautiful viewpoints of the infinity rice terraces. As you arrive from the top of the hill, the village of Kho Muong comes into view, revealing its unique charm. After exploring the village, proceed to the cave entrance. Visiting the cave is possible, weather permitting.
Return to Pu Luong Eco Garden to shower and check out. Lunch will be served at the restaurant. Finally, enjoy some free time to relax or swim in the infinity pool before departure.

Hanoi - Transfer back to Hanoi with an estimated arrival time around 7 PM.

With the adventurous Pu Luong 3 days tour you will have the chance to discover beautiful landscapes and get closer from the nature and the local people. After a first trek around some local villages and discovering the rice field terraces surrounding the valley , another trek will take you deeper inside the reserve to reach Hieu waterfall and walk around in the jungle or enjoy a relaxing time swimming by the waterfall. You will then be welcome in an authentic traditional house to overnight where you will share diner , rice wine and exchange culture with the family. To end this 3 days tour in Ou Luong Nature Reserve , a pleasant and easy walk will take you to the impressive waterwheels irrigation system before to relax on a bamboo rafting ride on Cham Stream.
