Topas Ecolodge - Between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, the journey begins from the hotel on the Topas Mountain Express, with a comfortable 5-hour transfer to Topas Ecolodge.

Sapa - In the afternoon, the walk starts from Topas Ecolodge along a peaceful road offering stunning views of the rice terraces below. The path gently ascends to Lech village, where visitors can explore a local home, meet the welcoming Red Dao hosts, and observe their daily lifestyle. The Red Dao women, following their ancestors’ traditions, shave their hair and eyebrows and wear vibrant costumes. They are renowned for their exquisite handmade embroidery. On the return to Topas Ecolodge, the trail passes through rice terraces and over a suspension bridge, providing excellent photo opportunities of the landscape. The guide will share insights into the local farmers’ fascinating cultivation practices. Back at Topas Ecolodge, guests might enjoy a traditional Red Dao herbal bath at the lodge’s spa. Approximate duration: Easy grade/ 2.5 - 3 hours walking.

Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - Breakfast is served on the terrace. At 8:30 AM, the excursion begins with a transfer deeper into Hoang Lien National Park to the trek’s starting point near Sin Chai village. This “off the beaten track” adventure offers breathtaking views of high mountains, waterfalls, and deep valleys. The trails lead to the Red Dao village of Nam Nhiu, where visitors can meet the villagers, enjoy a cup of green tea in their home, and learn about their daily life. Leaving the village, the path turns into a small dirt trail, revealing a stunning view of the rice valley dotted with bamboo huts used by local farmers during harvest. After passing the rice terraces and a picturesque river, the walk continues on a quiet road before reaching Nam Cang village. Lunch is served at Topas Riverside Lodge, set against a jungle backdrop and connected to Nam Cang village by its own suspension bridge.

Liên Minh - Nam Cang village is located in the most remote area of Sapa. The Red Dao women wear some of the most colorful and diverse costumes among Vietnam’s ethnic groups. They are highly skilled in herbal baths, local medicine, and embroidery. With the guide, visitors will explore the village and learn how locals create writing paper, jewelry, and embroidery. A swim in the river is also an option. At 2:15 PM, a transfer is provided to a meeting point to board the Topas Mountain Express for a 4.5-hour journey back to Hanoi.
