10/10! This was the... - 10/10! This was the highlight of our trip! Seeing where the oysters and mussels came from and getting to have them fresh for the first time was a game changer. We won’t be able to eat regular oysters after this. 😂 Stefan was great! We also loved visiting the family winery. Please do this if you can!!

Foodie fun - If love oysters and mussels and want to know about Croatian culture, this would be a fun way to get to know about these things. And the winery visit was a bonus!

The perfect day! - It was the most amazing day! If you only do one excursion, do this one! What an incredible experience we had. Excellent oysters, fresh from the sea, opened in front of us! Mussel cooked with care in a delicious red sauce by a beautiful young lady. Her father, with his unbelievable knowledge, was captivating! The perfect day ended at a winery!

Amazing Oyster and Wine Tasting experience. - One of the best excursions ever, from exploring the historic town of Ston and the 4000 year old salt factory, eating amazingly fresh oysters and mussels, to learning and tasting local wines this was a fun filled day. Stefan our driver and main tour guide on the trip was awesome. He told us about the history of Dubrovnik, Ston, and the many places we visited. Such as the longest Great Wall in Europe. Dubo, the captain and owner of the oyster farm showed us his process of oyster farming and shucked us live fresh oysters straight from the boat. His sweet daughter made us the tastiest mussel buzara in all of Dubrovnik, while we all chatted over wine and great food. The final stop was a local vineyard called Skurla, where we met the owners daughter Mia. The vineyard has been in their family for 4 generations and was very intimate setting. Mia was very informative about their wines and how each one was made. The wine, liqueurs, and snacks were so delicious that we bought 6 bottles! This is a must stop for wine and mussel enthusiasts! Stefan picked us up straight from our hotel in Dubrovnik and took us by van to Ston, which was about a 1 hour trip, where the city, oyster farm, and winery are located.

Definitely recommending to everyone I know!!! - So much fun and informative. I wasn’t feeling the best so had to forgo the oysters but the cooked mussels were phenomenal. The family wine and the brother and sister duo were great. The winery was awesome. Going back tomorrow on the way to split to stock up on some wine. Stefan was an amazing driver and guide.

A Perfect Tour - This was a truly wonderful tour and a perfect day. Despite it being a warm day, we were extremely comfortable in the air conditioned car, shaded boat, and air-conditioned winery. Ston was a lovely stop with fantastic local artisans. Our driver and main tour guide was extremely friendly and accommodating (with a great playlist!). The other individuals associated with the tour were extremely friendly and provided great information on the local cuisine/wine. The food and drink was exceptional and I was grateful for the opportunity to experience a smaller town and a more local-feeling experience. I HIGHLY recommend this tour as it was the highlight of our trip!

Fantastic! - Absolutely fantastic opportunity! The driver was punctual, informative, and fun! The oyster experience was great. The family who runs the business gave us a delicious meal and lots of history of their family business. The vineyard had amazing wine and grapa. We were given a lot of information about their wine and what makes it unique. We left with multiple bottles of wine and grapa. This is a must do when in Dubrovnik!

Ston oysters farm - If you like oysters you must do this trip! Croatian oysters are the best in the world. You get them right out of the sea and shucked before your eyes. Amazing!!

Great oysters, wine and site seeing - This was definitely a great experience to see a little bit of Croatia outside of Dubrovnik. Ston was beautiful, although I wish we had a bit more time to explore the city. The oyster and mussel tour was awesome, the captain was engaging and friendly. The winery tour was very good as well. Our host was very knowledgeable about her wines and products. Our driver was friendly and got us around safely but was a bit shy. Was a fun day all around!

Disappointed? Yes, but does what it says on the tin. - Our experience was very different from the reviews that I read. Not to our expectations considering the amount of money paid essentially for a taxi service. First, quite a fair bit of the tour is actually a car ride from Dubrovnik to the area and back (approx 45min to 60min one way). Our driver, whilst nice enough wasn't really a tour guide at all. He dropped us off at the places and each time said he'll come back to pick us up later... To set expectations for other people looking to do this tour: 1. Ston - driver will drop you off after a 45-60 minute drive, you're left to do your own thing for 45 minutes. Exploring the walls costs additional money. Town is quite small. 2. Oyster and mussels - The redeeming part of this tour. Driver drops you off at a small boat with a local oyster farmer who is the 4th generation in farming the waters. Oysters and mussels were great! 3. Winery - In our case, the winery were not even prepared for our visit. Had to wait a bit for anyone to greet us and they were not prepared for guests. Not really much of a tour, rather just a bit of wine tasting. No obligation to buy anything from this small family production but we decided to buy a bottle. 45-60 minute drive back Consider hiring your own driver and arranging a similar itinerary, the people we shared a boat with for the oyster and mussel boat trip did that and had a better result!
