• Tahune Adventures - The next destination is the Tahune Airwalk, offering two wonderful hours to explore this breathtaking region. Choose from one or all three available walks. Begin with the renowned Airwalk, a 600-meter walk 50 meters above the ground amidst the world’s tallest flowering plants, the eucalyptus gum trees. For those feeling adventurous, the Swinging Bridges Track awaits, a 3.4-kilometer trek crossing two swinging bridges over the Huon River: the first (100m long) and the Picton Swinging Bridge (64m long). Alternatively, enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank through ancient Huon pines, mingling with trees that are 2,500 years old. It’s truly a journey through ancient times!
• Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs - After lunch, the adventure continues further south to the enchanting Hastings Caves, where the underground marvels of Australia’s largest dolomite cave await. The entrance ticket (included) provides a guided tour through this captivating cave system, led by an experienced and enthusiastic guide. Here, admire the intricate formations and learn about the area’s geological history.
