This engaging tour features activities ranging from easy to moderate, enabling participants to discover the island’s beaches, national parks, dramatic coastline, and indigenous wildlife. Travel is facilitated by a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, and the tour includes round-trip ferry transfers.
- We pick up from many locations within a 5km radius of the Hobart CBD.
- Pickup starts before tour start time.
- This tour has no set schedule. Every day can be different. There is so much to see and do at Bruny Island that it is impossible to do it all in one day. Our guides will plan the day based on the group and weather conditions to maximise and better the experience.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- We do not pickup from Airbnb’s or private residences only Hotels within 5km radius of the Hobart CBD. If we do not pickup directly from your hotel, we will direct you to the nearest location

Fun for everyone, Hobart local or not! - Gray was very insightful and knew heaps about the native Bruny wildlife.
His tour was accessible to young and old, and was filled with funny titbits to talk about with the family back home.
We visited all the highlights of Bruny (the chocolate shop and lighthouse being our favourite); don’t feel like we missed a thing!

Great day out - A great relaxing day out with Gray the tour guide. My highlight was the history given at Cape Bruny lighthouse and the beautiful views from the southern end of Bruny Island.

Bruny tour - The tour and guide were fantastic! We explored beautiful locations. We even reached the top of the lighthouse (but couldn't see Antarctica haha). The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny.

Lovely day out - It was a fantastic day out. Lovely way to see a gorgeous island. Guide was knowledgable, food tasty and we even went for a swim in the lagoon. Highly recommend.

Once in a lifetime experience – absolute must-do - Skye and Nathan are the best! They catered the trip towards the audience. Both super knowledgeable and friendly.
The actual experience was incredible. They pack so much into the eight hours – I feel like I was on Brunny Island for three days. Great balance of nature views, beaches, hiking, local attractions, and relaxing.
Note: the way the tour works is you spend 10-30 minutes on the van between spots. The van is air-conditioned so bring a sweater. I really appreciated just taking in the view while in the van. Also, it gives you time to relax. My van had 10 people – all friendly with their own backstories.

Bruny Island Day trip we will remember forever! - Andrew from Tassie Day Tours was an awesome guide and made our day so special as he knew where the rare albino wallaby was likely to be!! He had so much passion about the island he had his childhood holidays on and we fell in love with this special place. Coves, private sheltered bays, ancient rainforests and spectacular beaches! And we visited honey shop, chocolate shop, drive- through oyster place and lots of naturally beautiful locations. Such an awesome day.

Good Bruny sampler - This day tour was a great way to get a snapshot of Bruny Island, with several short stops at scenic lookout and a chance to buy some local produce. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and his enthusiasm for Bruny was contagious.
The ability to order our pub lunch before we arrived was a real time saver. The lunches were overpriced for what they were, but there are few dining options in that part of Bruny so no real alternative. If it is a clear, warm day, bringing your own lunch could be a better option as there is a sheltered spot to eat.
We probably enjoyed the scenic views more than the stops at shops selling local produce, but this is just our personal preference.
One issue that could be improved was communication regarding the pick up point. Some communications specified our hotel, whilst others specified the tourist information centre. I had to contact the company for clarification. There was also some confusing information about the requirement to purchase a parks pass.
