Bruny island - Wonderful sights to visit and see food was excellent. Lighthouse was exceptional and loved adventure Bay. Chocolate factory was fun and honey shop was quaint. Our tour guide was Nigel he rambled a little bit but information was good, Nigel was not very friendly to everyone. His driving had a little bit to be desired.

Bruny Isaland tour was "Absolutely Fabulous!" - 5 "Sistas" from Yeppoon had the most fabulous day on this trip just this week. Our tour guide/driver was fabulous, full of information and laughable little stories that had us smiling all day. The "schucked" oysters for our picnic beachside morning tea were the freshest, tastiest and biggest oysters I have ever eaten and I would thoroughly recommend this tour on the oyster morning tea alone. Later on the walk up to the top of Bruny Island lighthouse was a highlight of our day with tremendous views, albeit a bit windy! As a group of "Sistas" who have travelled together for 21 years, we would highly recommend this tour and rate it as one of the best we have ever done.

An extraordinary experience - A small group tour (13 of us) embarked and were taken by van on a short ferry ride to beautiful Bruny Island. Fabulous vistas and beaches, delicious cheeses and oyster tasting, wildlife spotting, an amazing tour to the top of a lighthouse, a wonderful filling lunch at a local pub/restaurant - all hosted by our engaging driver and tour guide Andy. Frankly, the drive to and from the ferry, coupled with the drive all around this lovely island, requires what feels like too much time in the vehicle. That being said, I’m not sure how it could be shortened because I can’t imagine cutting anything out. A full day experience and worth it!

Great Day out. - Excellent day out. our driver/guide, Nigel, was very entertaining and knowledgeable about all aspects of the Island. Visit to the Lighthouse was very good along with morning picnic on the beach and Lunch. Thanks also to Craig and Jimmy who went out of their way to help us to retrieve a bag which had been left on the bus at the end of the day.

Bruny Island! A little piece of Paradise! - Bruny Island! A day trip to Bruny Island is something that will remain etched in my memory. Our guide/driver, David was amazing. His cheery disposition was refreshing and the knowledge he imparted continuously throughout the day on the history of this little piece of paradise was wonderful. Fauna; flora and not to be disappointed, a glimpse of a ‘white wallaby’ and of course the LIGHTHOUSE! What a treat being able to venture inside, climbing the staircase to take in the picturesque sights and all whilst hearing stories of days gone by of the Lighthouse Keepers and Ship Wrecks. I was particularly taken by the story of ‘Truganini’ and have purchased a copy of ‘Truganini Journey through the apocalypse’. Thanks, David for wetting my appetite! As for local gourmet delights they were plentiful - a delicious morning tea of ‘Get Shucked’ oysters accompanied by fresh bread, cheese and a cuppa whilst overlooking the breathtaking beach and ocean views. We also stopped at various local businesses sampling Honey; Cheese and Chocolate and of course topped it off with a tantalising lunch at the Bruny Hotel. Such a full, eventful day which was worth every dollar. Finally, do yourself a favour and book a trip with Bruny Island Safaris. You won’t be disappointed!!!! Christine (Melbourne)

Bruny island - Had a ok day. Not really what we expected it to be. Advertised as a ‘ gourmet’ food experience. Mmmm not sure I would agree with that. Anyway fun day but don’t expect too much gourmet. Our driver/guide was excellent. Full of lots of interesting information.
