If the weather is rainy or the mountain is enveloped in clouds, an alternative lookout will be provided to ensure you don’t miss Hobart’s stunning vistas.

Salamanca Market - It’s time for Salamanca Market (Saturday only) - Tasmania’s top tourist attraction! This world-class market showcases the best of Tasmanian culture - art, produce, street performers, souvenirs, beverages, and more! Join the locals as you browse the stalls for gifts while enjoying a coffee and breakfast. This is the closest you’ll get to feeling like a local. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the experience is unforgettable.

Richmond Bridge - Travel back in time as you explore the historic convict town of Richmond, home to Australia’s oldest bridge and Catholic Church. This charming stop is renowned for its unique shops and eateries.

The Wicked Cheese Co. - Enjoy complimentary cheese tastings from the award-winning local cheesemaker, Wicked Cheese.

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary - Get up close with Australia’s unique wildlife. This unforgettable experience allows you to walk through a beautifully curated animal rescue sanctuary, where you’ll encounter Tasmanian Devils, Kangaroos, Wombats, Koalas, and many more beloved animals. Bruny Island Day Tour

Mavista Falls - Immerse yourself in this temperate rainforest and breathe in the fresh, crisp air while soaking in nature’s vibes. This 20-minute return walk offers a glimpse into the diverse environments of this magnificent island.

Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tours - Spend 30 minutes exploring the picturesque Cape Bruny, home to Australia’s second oldest original tower.

The Neck - Capture the iconic Bruny Island image from the lookout, offering 360-degree views of the Tasman Sea, Tasman Peninsula, North and South Bruny Island, and Mount Wellington.

Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry - The next stop will delight sweet tooths as we visit the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry.

Port Arthur Lavender - Visit the beautiful Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Discover unique handmade products crafted from Tasmanian Lavender and take a leisurely walk along the scenic lavender trail.

Port Arthur Historic Site - Dive into the intriguing, rich, and somber history of Australia’s best-preserved penal settlement. Admission is at your own cost, and the entry fee includes a 35-minute guided walking tour and a 20-minute harbor cruise.

Stay for the full 4 hours or rejoin the bus after 3 hours for an additional experience: Maingon Bay and the Remarkable Cave.

Remarkable Cave - Be greeted by the stunning vista of Maingon Bay. At the lookout, enjoy exceptional views of Penguin Rocks and the bay. Descend 115 steps to view the Remarkable Cave from a platform surrounded by ancient sandstone cliffs.

• Hobart Highlights is always on Saturdays to include the Market. If you start on a Thursday or Friday you will do Bruny Island and or Port Arthur first.
