The mangrove forest in Can Gio boasts high biodiversity, featuring over 200 species of fauna and 52 species of flora. The recent wars have severely impacted these ecosystems, but significant efforts by local communities have been made to restore the mangroves. Upon visiting Monkey Island, you’ll be amazed to find monkeys everywhere. These monkeys move swiftly through the trees, run on the ground, approach visitors, and observe them with curiosity. While some monkeys are friendly and adorable, others can be unpredictable. When visiting the island, it’s important to follow the rules by maintaining a safe distance from the monkeys and refraining from touching or feeding them.
