As the tour transfers between sites, guests will pass through lush rubber plantations and Mong Ngua Mountain, a former hideout for Vietnamese troops. - Ho Chi Minh City - If the option is to only visit Long Tan, there will be a stop for lunch (at guests’ own expense) before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. If the option includes visiting Long Tan & Vung Tau Beach, the tour proceeds to Vung Tau Beach, where guests can enjoy a local lunch and the beach atmosphere (lunch included), visit Bach Dinh, and then return to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour concludes with a return to Ho Chi Minh City, where guests are dropped off at their hotel, concluding the historic battlefield tour.

Informative, respectful and entertaining - Hillbilly Jack is everything you are looking for in a local guide. The amount of knowledge and history he was able to impart on the drive was amazing.
The sights are humbling, regardless of nationality. This is not quite a 'off the beaten track' tour...but getting close.
Cannot recommend the tour and Hillbilly Jack enough!

ANZAC Battlefield Tour - Our tour guide Hillbilly Jack started the tour with an Incredibly insightful presentation in the car on the context of Vietnam and her history, while focusing in on The Vietnam War, specifically Australian involvement, which was a different perspective from what I’ve seen on the rest of my trip. He showed us the powerful sites of Nui Dat and the rubber plantation at Long Tan. Very informative and a good communicator. Excited to book something else with him as my tour guide
