• Ho Chi Minh City - Morning: Guests will be picked up from their hotel. The journey to Cu Chi will take about one and a half hours by bus. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, there will be a brief introduction followed by a video explaining how the tunnels were built and how people survived under the challenging conditions of wartime. Then, visitors can explore the remaining areas and tunnel systems, which include specially constructed living spaces with kitchens and bedrooms alongside other military facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers, ensuring the residents’ basic needs were met. Additionally, there are numerous hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (the guerrillas’ food during the war) will be served.
  After lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues with visits to the Reunification Palace (also known as Independence Palace), the War Remnants Museum, and two of the finest examples of classical French colonial architecture: Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, before returning to the hotel.
