Cu Chi Tunnels - 8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.
We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed).
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds).
At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

‘Ways to Bypass Crowds at Cu Chi Tunnels’
- An early start is our suggestion.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels pull in sightseers each day, becoming excessively crowded on weekends and Vietnamese festive days. Expect long queues at every turn, resulting in a cramped experience at any given time.
- Half a day is usually enough. Plan to arrive at the tunnels either prior to 8:30 AM or closer to 2:30 PM. By these hours, the morning rush has subsided and the afternoon weather is more agreeable.

Amazing exprience and history lesson from our guide Kevin. I'd recommend this to everyone as a staple activity - Amazing experience. Our tour guide Kevin gave us brief overview of the Vietnamese history leading up to and including the war. It's recommended to get some background by visting the war museum first as it's too much to go through in a single tour. After arriving our guide Kevin took us through the area which included some displays of vietnamese fighters and their methodologies used throughout the war as well as the different munitions used by GI's. Next we went to the firing range, where I chose to fire some rounds from an AK47, which I'd recommend if you've never done it before. Finally was the experience walking through some of the tunnels, which I'd also highly recommend if you can handle it. It is a bit dark and not ideal if you struggle with confined spaces but the tunels are a single corridor with escape points every few metres which should give you peace of mind. I'd recommend the exprience to everyone even if you can't get into the tunnels.

Chance to learn more about the Vietnamese tunnel warfare. - Max our host was super enthusiastic and full of knowledge about the tour. Not just that he brought our experience to life and managed the location effectively enabling us to thoroughly enjoy our morning.
Beyond this Max was excellent explaining the history of the country.
Excellent, must do if you’re able to make the time when visiting.

Excellent experience, would highly recommend. - Our group of 4 took a private tour with Kevin and Thien (driver) and had an absolutely amazing time. Kevin was lots of fun, full of information and tailored the tour to what we wanted to do. The van was comfortable and Thien was a safe driver. I’d highly recommend booking this tour if you’d like a deeper understanding of Vietnam, be able to take things at your own pace and have a really memorable experience.

Chu Chi Tunnels Tour with Jen - We had an amazing experience on the Cu Chi Tunnels tour with Jen as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history in a clear, engaging way that really brought the site to life. Jen was also very friendly and approachable, which made the tour even more enjoyable. On top of that, she gave us great restaurant recommendations around Ho Chi Minh City! Tour guide Tan / Driver Mr Ty : Excellent service - Private tour for 2 people - Worth the money for the personal experience
Picked up in a comfy, air conditioned car, on time
Journey to was broken up with a toilet stop
Journey back was straight back, around 1.5h each way
Driver was excellent, very professional
Tour guide Tan was brilliant start to finish, spoke very clear english so easy to understand. The trip out he gave us some history of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.
During the tour he managed to get us in front of the big groups, taking photos for us a long the way whilst providing detailed information.
The tour sells itself, its a must do.
We paid for the shooting experience which Tan guided us through, it was minimum 10 bullets each which cost 30$ for an AK47. Would recommend.
The driver provided water in the car.
Ask for Tan when you book the tour, could not recommend him more, very impressed

Chu Chi Tunnels Tour - We did the chu chi tunnels tour with our Guide Ni. The Tour was very good and everything was explained very detailled and so that you could really understand what happened.

Great cu chi tunnels tour by Bruno 10/10 - Had a fantastic trip to Cu Chi Tunnels. Bruno our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Overall journey took about 45 minutes but we stopped at the arts centre for agent orange victims. Very interesting on what they are doing. Arrived at the tunnels and got shown some of the boobie traps the Vietnamese used! Then went into the tunnels to experience what it was like living underground. Bruno was very good with lots of explanation on the history of the war. ( For any UK tourists Bruno is a Man U supporter but don’t hold that against him 😂😂). Would definitely recommend this tour and 10/10 for Bruno !
