Cu Chi Tunnels - 8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.
We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed).
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds).
At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

- An early start is our suggestion.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels pull in sightseers each day, becoming excessively crowded on weekends and Vietnamese festive days. Expect long queues at every turn, resulting in a cramped experience at any given time.
- Half a day is usually enough. Plan to arrive at the tunnels either prior to 8:30 AM or closer to 2:30 PM. By these hours, the morning rush has subsided and the afternoon weather is more agreeable.

Cu Chi Tunnels - Tu was an excellent guide for us to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. The car and driver were also excellent . We learned so much about the history, culture and long term effects of the wars in Vietnam . Though a long drive to and from HCM city , was well worth it :)

Excellent tour with very knowledgeable guide - Tu greeted us at the hotel where the driver then picked us up. He was very informative of the history of Vietnam and answered all our questions. It was nice to have such an informative guide who was very engaging. At the tunnels Tu took us round the various sites avoiding the larger groups and again told us the history and some interesting stories.

Excellent private tour of Chu chi. - Excellent tour with Tu Thanh, very knowledgeable and we managed to get around before the crowds arrived. The tour was informative and very comprehensive.

Great private tour - It was definitely worth it to book a private tour as we could move around the area much quicker with less waiting time. Toan was an amazing tour guide! We had a good and informative time.

Cu chi tunnels - A really great trip and definitely recommend visiting the tunnels. Stop off on the way to see some craft making which was interesting. Kim was our guide who was brilliant! Very chatty and spoke excellent English. We paid extra for the VIP tour which meant just the two of us with a driver and personal guide. Definitely worth paying that little bit extra

Cu chi tunnels - Jen was an excellent guide, she is exceptionally knowledgeable on the history and is fascinating to listen to.
Jen was very punctual meeting us in a lovely clean air conditioned car, with beautiful cool water.
Jen explained all our questions- nothing was a bother she is amazing.
I cannot recommend Jen enough this tour is a must do. Jen’s knowledge made the tour more special with her detailed knowledge and stories from the war. Jen supported us to go into the tunnels.

Cu Chi tunnel private tour - Jen was an outstanding guide, she has fantastic English and her knowledge was amazing.
We were picked up from our hotel in an immaculate clean air conditioned car, with lovely cool water, we went via a workshop for victims from agent orange where they made beautiful artworks, then onto the tunnels where Jen gave a fascinating history and insight into the Cu Chi she answered our multiple questions.
100% recommended it was great to have such a personal tour. everything was done for you no lines very professional.

Definitely worth a visit - Half day trip to visit the tunnels. Our guide was Bunny who was excellent - truly very informative. Trip there in ac bus was ok too. Worth a visit for sure.

Not the original tunnels from the Indochina War, but made for turists. - The tour was informative and informative, but be aware that the original tunnels that you visit are no longer there. They were made for tourist purposes, so there is nothing left from the war itself.
You can go down into a tunnel that was made for the purpose, but larger than the original tunnels. There are different lengths to choose from, but most tourists choose the 20 meter one.
On the way out you visit a workshop where they make different pictures. According to the guide, they were supposed to be victims of Agent Orange, but I'm a little unsure if that's actually the case. It's still exciting to experience how they make the different pictures of eggshells and mussels.
The guide was informative, but a little tired and slept most of the way out to the Tunnels. We did have a nice tour with him at the site itself.
