The journey begins with a 1.5-hour drive northwest of Saigon, passing through the southern countryside to the renowned Cu Chi tunnels. This extensive network, stretching from Saigon to the Vietnam-Cambodia border, features numerous trapdoors, interconnected living spaces, storage areas, weapon factories, small military hospitals, command centers, and even kitchens. During this tour, participants will discover the underground life of a Viet Cong soldier.
- Cu Chi Tunnels Tours - Spanning over 200km, this hand-dug tunnel system connected shelters, posts, hospitals, and weapon bunkers. Visitors can walk through the area, learn about the life of the VC, and encounter the cleverly hidden entrances and intricate booby-traps. Following this, a mini-van will transport the group for a two-hour drive to the Mekong area.
- My Tho - Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant en route to the Mekong.
- After lunch, leave the bustling city behind as the landscape gradually transforms into rice paddies and rural villages on the drive to My Tho.
- The adventure continues with a small boat cruise on the river to visit a coconut factory, where participants can learn about coconut candy production and sample local products. A horse-drawn carriage ride through the village offers the chance to savor some tropical fruits.

Ben Tre Province - Following this, an incredible rowing boat trip on the small canal in Tan Thach village in Ben Tre is a must-see. Another islet visit will lead to a small bee farm to enjoy honey tea and other local delicacies.

Amazing private tour to Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta - We had a one day private tour to Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta. Our tour guide Lee was knowledgeable and shared about Vietnam war history, answering many of our questions. Appreciate that the tour supports local businesses. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend the private tour for families experiencing Vietnam for the first time.

A perfect experience around Saigon - Thank you very much for the great tour. It was an unforgettable, exciting and informative experience for us to have done the tour with our tour guide Lee.
We particularly liked the timing and the many stops away from the tourist crowds. Our little daughter (4years old) enjoyed also the tour. We can recommend the tour to anyone who wants to experience a special day with many highlights in the countryside around Saigon!

Unforgettable day complete to our wishes with Lee! - Great private tour done with Lee and driver who took us safely everywhere. In the morning we went to the tunnels. In the car Lee told us all about the war history, not only from the books but also from his father. We arrived before the big crowds and the visit was very impressive. The second part of the day was slightly modified at our request; for example a Vietnamese and Buddhist temple (where monks also live) were added and horse and cart ride changed to tuk tuk. We skipped the honey where many tours stop. Lee had arranged a private boat that took us in the Mekong to several stops. All in all had a really great day. A private tour may be a bit more expensive but we really liked it. We booked Lee through tours with locals.

Best Experience in Saigon - I was amused with Hanry . He is funny and friendly, tye next day with Linh , she is a very happy and bubly girl. Very knowledgeble. Helpfull and cute girl. We like her so much

A must if you are visiting Vietnam - A great day out. Penny was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about the tunnels and the history of the Vietnamese war. We learnt so much from her. It is a long day so be prepared for that. We also want to say how great the driver was.

A great 5* day - Penny is an absolutely fantastic tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and completely made the trip for us. Her English is exceptional. Apart from seeing the the Cu Chi Tunnels, which was quite an eye opening experience, we had a lovely trip along the Mekong Delta, stopping for lunch and going to a couple of small islands which was really interesting. All in all a great day.
