Garry is a wonderful communicator and entertainer for both the young and the old. He shared many intriguing stories from the past and used photos and witness accounts to back up his ghostly tales. He went out of his way to engage my teenage grandkids and provided them with an app on his phone that tracked paranormal activity within the places that we visited. He describes himself as a sceptic but turned many of us in the group into believers. I'm sending friends and more family members your way, Garry! Thanks for the memorable and haunting experience! Of course the information presented to me was all new, so I was intent on listening/learning. The presenter kept the momentum moving and engaged nicely with the group. I had been anxious to meet him after reading an article in the Idaho Senior Independent paper. I only wish we could have gone into more buildings and heard more history. Our next trip will be the Trolly.
Very informative and our tour guide had such a great personality!
We totally enjoyed the tour with the accompanying history lesson. From the description of the tour we thought there was a little more underground to the tour.
At the beginning of the tour our guide mentioned he had about 4 hours of history but the tour is only 1.5 hours. A fun option would be to be able to have a "walk part 2" to hear more local history...
I love history. And was very interesting. Our historian/tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a geat personality. It was fun for the whole family.
Love the history, love that Garry isn't all serious (fun and jokes), interesting stories are told. This was my 3rd or 4th tour and I'll probably do another one!
I. Learned so much about my hometown and the tour guide was very entertaining
This is the third tour I've been on in the past 10-12 years. Each has been in a different part of downtown, informative and a lot of fun. Garry has hosted all of them, and is the perfect guide.
I hope that in the future there is another tour in different buildings that I can enjoy. Thanks, Garry, for the trip back to the wild, wild west.
Got to go inside buildings and learn a lot of history about Lewiston I did not know. Who knew Lewiston had so many Women's Boarding Houses during the Gold Rush?
I have been in the tour for the past several years and Gary never disappoints. I love to hear the history of Lewiston and the buildings. The ghost are just a bonus.
The tour was not only "ghostly" but very historic. Thank you Garry for sharing your knowledge.
Gary was Knowledgable and humorous. Left us with wanting more.
I thought our guide was excellent. He was a great story teller and very personable. I enjoyed seeing the inside of old buildings and hearing what they were used for.
Our guide was really good! He doesn't use cue cards, I love that!
This was so much fun! Gary is very knowledgeable about local history. We even had ghostly experiences!
Garry was great! Informative. Looking forward to doing a historic walking tour of the Liberty and Temple Theaters in the future!
Gary was great! I learned a lot and had a good time
I loved the history of Lewiston!!
It was a very enlightening tour. I learned a lot about Lewiston and some of the colorful characters living there....both current and deceased! 😉 I got some interesting photos that I sent to Garry via Facebook messenger. I would love to hear what his thoughts are on them.
Great guide. Very entertaining and knowledgeable. Would love to go again. Thank you
The tour was more historical than Ghost related information. I would have only given it 3 starts but the historical information was interesting and the presenter was entertaining.
I was born and raised it n the LC valley. I have walked and driven by those buildings thousands of times but now I see them with a new appreciation. I learned many new and interesting things. Gary was super entertaining, the hour and a half just flew by, we were having so much fun. Looking forward to booking a trolley tour next!
I learned a lot of interesting history.
